I was shocked to learn that Steve Bridges died so young. In my entire life, and I'm 74-years old, I have never seen a more gifted impersonator. RIP.

I can’t say I always loved W’s politics, but he clearly has a sense of humor and I appreciate that. Much better than some recent Presidents. It’s obviously a serious job 99% of the time but nice to see the human side of our elected officials. The impersonation was absolutely amazing and very funny.

I never thought I’d think of these times as the good ol days. I cant

Didn't agree with most if his politics but I was never embarrassed or ashamed of him. Ever. I'd have a beer with this guy any day!

At least G.W. had a sense of humor and wasn't afraid to mock himself. That makes for a real president.

Every time when this clip shows up on YouTube, I can’t help but felt it is such a pity that we no longer see the brilliance of Steve.

You will never see it’s like in China or Russia. That’s why America is great. Love from the UK. ❤

I said this before and I say this again. Where else on earth you can see a supreme leader of the country allows an impersonator to make fun of him in front of the nation? I am not an American but I would still say this is what true freedom. This is what true freedom of expression. Though I was never an admirer of George bush, I like him for this big sportiveness. God bless the world!

Bridges does Bush better than Bush does Bush.
  • @Blindeyedog
    W. had a great sense of humor. He said "The funniest thing is to be able to make fun of yourself." Great guy.
  • Man those was simpler times. Even if you disagreed with that man you couldn't help but love him.
  • @michaelg8642
a simpler time when people could disagree on things while still seeing the humanity in each other...
  • R.I.P. Steve. You made the world a better place through bringing laughter into these difficult times.
  • I have to come back here often to get a few laughs. Love both of these guys.
  • @Kitch-hu7tm
This was so well done. I laughed when I watched it live and I still laugh when I watch it. The best part is that the media covered it for what it was and not as divisive as they do now.
  • @grail68
Bush said on Jimmy Kimmel recently that Bridges was his favourite impression of him. RIP Steve.
  • @XaurreauX
No one would ever confuse me with a Bush supporter, but I think this was one of the finest moments of his presidency.

I'm seeing this for the first time. This is priceless! Steve Bridges -- what an incredible talent! The GW was having a good time, and able to laugh at himself. Wow, this is a one-of-a-kind performance!
