“Sorry about the landing” “Its ok, it was still better than last time”
  • Tom passed away in November of 2022 at the age of 101. He lived and gave more than most all of us. His spirit now soars.

So crazy to think the last time he made that same jump was one of the scariest days of his life and he survived it to do it again as a hero near the end of his life. This was so awesome to watch.

Props to the camera man for jumping out without a parachute and living

Grandpa:dont mind the bad landing..back then bullets were flying everywhere.

This near 100 year old man made me feel very small indeed. To return nearly 80 years later by parachute to where his comrades fell on the bloodiest of all D-Day beaches is one of the bravest things I’ve ever seen.
  • These guys who stormed the beaches on D-day had nuts that dragged the ground

I can't imagine the memories that flooded back as he stood in the door of the same type airplane he jumped from in combat. Honor and Respect to our Veterans. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️

I was 82 Airborne, and this 97 year old, great shape hero, is still a hero all these years later. May God bless and keep him even longer to inspire us all.

When you realize he was only 22 years old when he first jumped on Omaha beach.

When jumping he was probably like: Ah shit, here we go again

To think how brave this guy was to jump back then - when the airplane and parachute tech was in its infancy. Many respects.

Some people just keep making history no matter the age. This soldier continues to set the bar of admiration. Fantastic!

Grandpa is probably like, “Where’s the flak?”

“hey, sorry about the landing.” “don’t worry, last time i landed 2 miles away from the rest of my platoon in the middle of war torn france”

I was a paratrooper and I can say this man still has balls of steel.
  • What a legend thank you for everything you did for us. People might not think to much about it now, but your generation saved the world and we owe everything we have to all of you brave veterans who put yourself in harms way for our freedoms and your families. Thank you sir!
