  • The Jaystation story is actually beautiful. Nobody really died except for Jay's career and crap content.

I remember when Glenn Webb (an amazing toy and action figure reviewer) passed away. He didn't tell anyone he was sick. Just one day, his partner appeared in his signature chair, told us that he had passed, thanked us, and told us how much our views meant to him. Nice, quiet dignity.

While it was wrong of Sketchek to fake his death like that, the whole puzzle he set up was legendary. I don't know how else he could have done it where it would still be such a crazy hunt and reveal. But yeah, it guts me when hearing of anyone's suffering, so i feel terrible for his followers. But also impressed.

The idea that any single human being watched Jay Station “cry” about his dead girlfriend and bought a word of it is INCREDIBLE to me. That’s a level of gullibility that hurts my guts
  • Hearing jaystation actually talk like a normal human being and not a bad cartoon character is genuinely surreal
  • The hilarious part about Jaystation was how he was wiping his EYEBROWS while he was "Crying"

i have a friend who died from terminal cancer. tommy and johnny saying their chiropractor can heal any ailment is so insanely infuriating. she tried everything. this is hard to watch
  • @NACHTY1
That JayStation segment had BS written all over it. From almost cracking into laughter to his cameraman's unremorseful interactions, the whole prank had holes from the start
  • @TrashComments
The fact that Tommy and Johnny went to a random chiropractor to "heal" them from their "illness" makes this 10x more worse yet so hilarious
  • @Jivolt
Jay Station makes everyone feel better about themselves.

The funny thing about Jaystation’s situation was that his girlfriend leaving him made him genuinely depressed than his girlfriend being dead.

As someone who faked his death at the age of 11 to get out of writing a fanfiction on Wattpad, this video makes me want to go back to that old account and clear the air. Luckily, nobody seemed to believe me, which is good because I lost the email and password for that account.
  • Jaystation: Guys, I'm so sad about the death of my girlfriend Alexia😢 Alexia: Quit telling everybody I'm dead!! Jaystation: Sometimes I can still hear her voice.

JayStation crossed multiple lines, from doing fake 3AM videos on recently deceased celebrities, to "buying slaves" from the dark web and faking his girlfriend's death for clicks and views, I was surprised why YouTube wasn't doing anything at the time but when the news came that they permabanned him, my heart filled with joy

“we got matching rings” shows two different rings with different styles, band widths, and metals 😂
  • @dialga236
My favorite part of the Sketchek situation is, in TF2 one of the weapons the Spy class can use is called the "Dead Ringer", which fakes the players death on hit, and "Sketchek Simulator" is a popular rename for it

A (very plausible) theory that's been passed around about Sketchek is that the reason he stopped uploading in 2022 was to quit TF2 and pursue a career as a VTuber. Between a VTuber channel found that sounds very close to Sketchek and his apparent fluency in Japanese, many think that's the direction he's taken.
  • @Chrish1981
Seeing people manipulate people with death are some of the worst, and that ruins others who genuinely have problems, but it's probably a manipulation as old as time.

As an addendum to the Sketchek story: Sketchek's back in content creation, under the name Sonny Brisko, a v-tuber. People pieced the similarities together and doubt isn't really allowed. Sonny is an Australian guy expatriated to Japan. Just like Sketchek. Their voices are extremely similar (not to say the exact same). And during a collaboration event where v-tubers of his agency, Sonny played. The game? TF2. Sonny's character? Pyro. And his movement/playstyle was the same as Sketchek, using the same weapon and everything. And even if he tried to hide it, when you spend 8000+ hours on a game, it will show. At this point, it's painfully obvious that Sonny Brisko and Sketchek are one and the same.
