Being a rule-breaker, suffering postpartum depression and experiencing huge heartbreak. Paloma Faith unveils her vulnerable side to Jamie, delving deep into her head and her heart.

Paloma has a distinctly unique perspective on life which shapes her to be the singer-a songwriter and style icon we know today. Emotions flow as she shares her journey through heartbreak, the role resentment played in the breakdown of her decade-long relationship and the happiness she has found through the love of her kids.

I'm ashamed to say I've been so incredibly judgemental about Jamie and Paloma individually in the past but I can now honestly say they are the most wonderful people. Paloma is so open, honest, articulate, and pure, and Jamie is so considerate and you could see and hear the real interest, passion and understanding he had towards Paloma as a person. This interview was so wonderful, beautiful, such an eye opener and I now have an absolute respect for both. Jamie's interview technique is spot on and deserves all the recognition it can get!!!

I'm a former national TV journalist and that was one of the best interviews, that I've ever seen.

I love Paloma's no nonsense approach and her directness, and the fact that despite her incredible success she is so humble. An amazing woman

I messaged her, after she asked about baby questions. She privately messaged me to thank me. I was really pleased. She really struggled and was so open about it.

I looked at Paloma Faith as an absolute idol from a young age and I still do. However, to see her open up and be so truthful makes me realise were all the same. What an inspirational woman. She's kind, beautiful and smart. I'm even more obsessed. ❤
  • I understand what Paloma says about doing three people's jobs. In the 70's when I was discussing women's liberation with my mum. She laughed and said 'what's emancipated about working at least two full time jobs' ( career and motherhood)

Paloma is so engaging and honest and Jamie is a natural at interviewing guests. Really enjoyed this interview.

My partner went back to work after our children were a few years old. As a man I didn't realise how much she actually done until I had to do it myself. I'm still apologising. Fantastic interview I've never been a Paloma fan, I am now. ❤

I went to school with Paloma, this interview was wonderful and showed she is still her authentic and amazing self. Wonderful interview Jamie, I stumbled across this and hope you keep up the great work!

Jamie, you are a wonderful interviewer. Your listening skills, understanding and empathy as well as your humility and sense of humour are so much more than I had expected. Great choice of interviewees so far and I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of you in this arena

I knew of both these people, but only in a vague way. I have an aversion to so many people who judge based on background. Watching and listening to this by chance has been the most enjoyable interview I've seen in years. I now have a huge amount of respect and admiration for both Jamie and Paloma.

What a breath of fresh air. What a beautiful woman and sounds like she’s a beautiful mum, a real star
  • @miaross1504
She’s so right !! Feminism has just forgotten us ! Women don’t get a break we’re expected to do everything and provide. Working a full time Job, keeping the house running, making sure the kids have everything they need. Sorting birthdays, dinners, clothes, parties, school clubs. We don’t get a break and have to put a front on 24/7 if you say you need a break your frowned upon… we’re all burning out….
  • Also she omitted to mention the enormous hormonal and bodily changes that happen when you get pregnant. Then you have to birth the child and deal with the aftermath (she does mention post birth depression). Your body changes forever. It's a massive thing. Plus the tiredness and huge responsibility to care for another human being 💖
