In 1991, my late wife and I had a family emergency and had to go to Vegas, i didn't have gas to get back home, i had a credit card and the ol man gave me a cash advance on it for $100. Got us back home and he only charged me $1. He was so kind to me. He is very missed.

When this show came to tv in Britain, I was hooked. It was my favourite show for a while. My son was four years old at the time. I was standing in a queue in a shop and he was getting a bit bored. I was trying to keep my place and keep him still. Eyes were being raised at me as it was, then out of nowhere he says 'Mummy, who's your favourite pawn star?' I nearly died!!! I explained loudly that he meant a tv show about PAWN, not PORN then took his hand and walked out 😂

Yeah! It’s tough! I lost my son at 22 yrs. old.But, you survive & life goes on. He used to exclaim, when he was little, “Dad, that’s not fair!” & I’d reply, “The fair is in Pomona”!

Thank you Rick & yours for teaching me the many Historical facts that you had such interesting knowledge of my family. As I use to babysit for a Mr. Harrison, a big engineer builder & Farmer when I was younger & he was a friend of our family in someway. Condolences to your family. Your father was a tough man in business.

God love that guy Rick he’s always smiling in the show pawn stars it got me through some very rough times when my severe depression and ptsd ocd and arthritis pain was kicking my arse I would perk up when it came on the tv I felt part of something 👍
