One of the reasons I really like listening to Orville Peck is that he doesn't sing from an era where all of the great singers were awful, bigoted people so I don't feel as bad listening to his music. Willy has always been on the left-leaning side of things, but it was still nice to see him be so openly accepting. Love this song and I can't wait for the second half of the album.

Just as a little FYI... In regards to the song and Willie. He recorded it originally in I think 2005, and was released on an album in 2009. That being said Willie has been "Woke" for a good chunk of time now!!!!... Just sayin!!
