I was expecting left turn signals to eventually be installed here and it looks like that what has happened. There are new left turn signals for every direction of traffic and I think it was because #1, there is building construction behind me and I think traffic will pick up more after the construction is complete and #2, traffic on this road does get busy at times and it wasn't that safe to have drivers yield to turn left like you saw in my video of the older signals here.
