The community and active atc with better looking models are what keeps me in infinite flight even i had made many new virtual pilot friends from this 👍

personally IF is better then RFS. RFS may have more features but IF takes their time to make sure every detail and model is correct and realistic.

I Used to play RFS back then around 2019-2022, but after my friend reccomend me IF ( last time i played it was around 2014 or 15 ) I dont know why but im addicted to it even tho people said "Low Quality ground" "Sucks graphic" etc , but i do agree that. beside that , the Multiplayer , Flight planning , and ATC was just impressive there , you can get Violation in Expert Server for not following the ATC command ( For example taxiing without perm , too close to another aircraft during landing / taxiing ,they can even give you the command to make seperation like "Maintain to slowest practical speed" or "Maintain ***Kts until 6 mile final" etc ) , but yeah RFS or IF its up to you , as he said "Both flight sims had pros and cons"

Infinite flight has a realistic overall graphic, but rfs has a realistic overall detail

As a user of infinite flight, I tested rfs, it's pretty good with volumetric clouds and lights on the ground, the only problem is that to use rfs you need a more powerful phone (that I set my RAM to max) while in Infinite flight, you just need to reduce bulky materials and there is little lag present

Only thing that rlly differential between these sims are that if runs smoother or atleast it looks like that and that if has too many non updated planes
  • The only thing I don't like about real world flight simulator is that is that the autopilot does a pretty good job of Landing the plane then when your manually trying to fly and land your aircraft it's pretty difficult so the autopilot does a pretty good job on the approach and Final Approach

In 2020 RFS used to have incredible scenery graphics to the point of being able to see the details of the streets of the cities with very high resolution when you were going to land and the 3d buildings were very well positioned, all this disappeared when they removed the loading screens of less than a second to give way to the global scenery, that in my opinion was what hurt RFS forever in terms of quality of scenarios and to this day have not been able to return to that quality they had, if you do not believe me look for videos of RFS in 2020 and you will notice what I'm talking about.
  • Both are very good flight sims, and I honestly think that they largely stand toe-to-toe with each other. However, I think RFS would greatly benefit from having more aircraft available without a subscription and free access to all of the HD airports that are being added.
  • Personally RFS is clearly above IF. Nowadays RFS sets Quality over Quantity, we have a much more realistic environment with weather, better scenery, the clouds etc. The models are also pretty good and at least equally good, same goes for the airports although I prefer the ones in RFS due to a better representation of reality, example the ground markings. That's my opinion, RFS>IF in 2024
  • I prefer RFS because IF can't be used on many devices, including my Samsung Galaxy M13

some days I want to play rfs, other days I want to play if, both simulators have good points and I like them both.
  • @javathon
I'd go with infinite flight every day, the multiplayer is so much more realistic, active and better. Plus, it's cheaper and the new A380 update looks AMAZING, cannot wait for it.

I recently downloaded the both simulators and I’m looking to buy a subscription, and for now RFS wins! Honestly at short distance but he wins!
  • @joaochavess748
and of course the two simulators have many things in common, apart from the difference in night lights and aircraft lights, which Infinite Flight no longer has, but I still think that Infinite Flight wins due to the number of complete airports
  • Real flight simulator the simulations are pretty cool the graphics I love the graphics but there's still need to be amendments and updates to the simulator for real world flight

I BEEN AT THE ATC FOR 2 week AND I BARELY CAN SEE THOSE GRAY PLANES AND BLACK. Why??? Why noy bright colors so its easy to Not only see the Blue Aircrafts when u in charge but the Gray when u depending on those arrivals to get ready to parking them. Aircraft asked me to cross runways,, I have to triple check cause I can see those dark colors... whos Idea was those dark barely see colors... I need Bright Colors for the landing planes on a different frequency. Black and Gray is not the best option. Also, when aircraft arrive and asked for specific Gate,.Why is not an option the you can Highlight that location so its easy to get the aircraft to that specific requested gate.
