According to this logic, jedi are actually more effective in large groups, as having other jedi around strengthens the ambient force energy in the area. That being said, the jedi would've been much better off had they deployed themselves as elite squadrons instead of generals during the clone wars.
  • Jedi Order: we serve the Republic but we won’t fight their wars for them Also Jedi Order: Count Dooku’s a Sith now? Well snap, that’s all you had to say! Ignites lightsabers
  • Order 66 was just the ICING on the Cake. Geonosis and the Clone Wars was the REAL Order 66.
  • Legends Grievous absolutely destroyed Jedi… he literally jumped down and crushed Sha’a Gi on Hypori

If order 66 was activated after the first battle of Geonosis, it wouldn’t have been successful as the Jedi had not yet fully trusted the clones and would have been ready to eliminate the clones if need be. The reason why order 66 worked was because by the time the order was issued, the Jedi had come to fully trust the clones with their lives, so when the men they trusted with their lives all of a sudden started shooting at them, they were caught off guard and didn’t have enough time to process what was going on. Also there was the fact that the Jedi were weakened by warfare and spread thin across the galaxy during the final hours of the Clone Wars and the fact that The clones received the order all at once and in only a few short minutes, 99% of the Jedi Order was dead.
  • Basically the Sith stacked the deck before the Jedi even knew they were in the game, and all they could do was react. And the sith had so many contingencies and back-up plans in place no amount of reacting would stop them. And it's not as if the Sith didn't have set-backs. The war kicking off before everything was completely ready, multiple unanticipated losses, more than a few times the senate nearly put the brakes on things, but in the end they still managed to bring things to fruition, with the only major failing being Vader's injuries from his duel with Obi-Wan.
  • Like ahsoka Tano said we were trained to be keepers of the Peace not soldiers
  • @omegon2540
Is anyone really surprised that the Jedi didn’t predict this They literally sat face to face with a Sith Lord many times ,yoda admitting his senses were clouded by the dark side while talking to said sith on scene, and never added one and one That is two, the number of sith at any given time
  • This makes Anakin's case more tragic cause his love for Padme made him stand out from all the other Jedi because whenever something terrible happens, he looks to her for comfort.
  • 1:32 I remember Bariss Offee was arrested for Jedi Temple bombing and framing Ahsoka Tano who left the Jedi Order after being disillusioned and upset of the betrayal.

The jedi were facing mostly droids, that might be why they were so unrestrained 8n their front line fighting. They were not destroying life, it must have felt okay at first. But the number of casualties of their own men piled up, slowly draining them. Them being dependent on what little life was still around them, and that life turning on them. Must have been traumatic for whoever survived.

Revenge of the Sith really is a tragedy of Greek proportions
  • @MandoMTL
The more time passes, the more I realize just how much of an incompetent leader Yoda was.
  • @SpaceMonkeyBoi
"What happened to all the jedi?" Palpatine: "I killed them... every single one of them... not just the men, but the women, and the children too... theyre like animals! And I slaughtered them like animals! I HATE THEM!"
  • lord sidious: execute order 66 10 minutes later: umm sir how do we comply with order 66 if our Jedi is dead?
  • @Yung-plague
Palpatines extermination of the jedi TRULY began many years before the two hundred lost on that fateful day on geonosis. With incidents like the project outbound flight, palpatine had been wiping out jedi by the dozens long before
  • @OhOh996
Last time I was this early, Anakin was still busy putting Younglings to sleep.
  • Realistically given that the Galactic Republic had a population in the quadrillions if not quintillions the Jedi order should've numbered in the millions.
  • @MrProp16
The Jedi Order were fools for having only one active temple by the time of the clone wars.
