  • I think you did a great job man. So many people think they know it all, or most of it. LOL You encouraged me to go cut my 4 acres of land I just bought with my JD Z930M. I will try to remember to let you know how it goes. Keep it up American small business owner and remember to laugh to and from the bank. Peace, Cole

Love the video. Did the same thing with my Z970R. Great machines.

Nice to know my mower can handle this length of grass! I have 5 acres of pasture I’m going to let some grow!

I never mowed that tall but maybe 2 ft. I had to mow my grandmothers 3 plus acres and if it rained it would be really soft for a long time. If the river reservoir was full it would leach up into her yard. Drove many times 60 miles one way to mow it. Hated for it to get tall but I would raise the deck and knock it and then windrow it up and rake it. Then lower the deck to mow and windrow again in the same day. Sometimes I had to do it 3 times, but it was worth it. The lawn always looked great afterwards. That rear discharge does great I am considering one myself. It just wouldn’t be able to windrow lol. Great video.

I mowed 10 acres of overgrown orchard grass and milkweed last month. Grass over 3ft, weeds over 4ft. Neighbor was supposed to use it for Hay in June but never cut it so the look of it pissed me off enough to take my Scag TT 61" through it. It took 2 cuts to make it presentable. 3rd cut got rid of a lot of the chopped clippings. 4th cut is looking beautiful at 3.5".
  • I have a 960m , 60 inch side discharge . I make one lap around on four and a half then go right back over it on two and it cuts it just as pretty as a picture 👍

I see Flat Fee TV, thanks, my reply button won't work anymore so I wrote it on here.
  • Nice mowing especially being wet.The white flowers that you by-passed at 5.00 looks like water hemlock that's a bad weed to come in contact with, that stuff is sprouting everywhere in the south. might not be but just be aware thanks for the video.

Hire someone with flail mower first, save your mower for later. Just because you can do it , don't mean you should. Not a big JD fan but that mower did more than it was designed for. Very impressive
  • @Jerry-hh5eb
I can't believe you mowed around that chair instead of moving it.
  • After this one???? Hell it looks like you needed to sharpen the blades BEFORE THIS ONE 🤣

Any problems with the mower overheating with the rear discharge deck?
  • good video, I have got a John deere Z930A zero turn I have removed the cutting deck and then I put it back but unfortunately leveling the deck stops working so doesn't work up and down. Do you have any idea what could be? Any help it will be appreciated. Cheers Ray
