My son has a skating coach that uses the same drills . He’s been with him for 3 seasons now . Son has the best feet and edges on his team . His team coach’s use him to show skating practice drills all the time . THEY WORK !!!!

These guys waist too much energy in the stopping since the seems to be entirely interested in facing the same direction when in fact one can do an very fast backward rotation and keep the momentum much better. One indeed has to turn around but the time and focus lost is negligible. These guys are doing it in a most inefficient manner.
