I'm getting a new to me Kioti tomorrow. Never had a cabbed tractor before and probably won't sleep well tonight or at least have a lot of weird dreams. Like a kid on Christmas Eve.

I can’t wait to see how the cabin is going, Chris! I know you stay busy all the time but I also know how much you enjoy working around your farm too! I bet the hay field is growing by now! Yeah, it’s always nice to hear your explaining what you’re working on! Tell Robert, if the sparks aren’t flying then the teeth aren’t getting sharpened! lol 🤣😂🤣
  • No matter what you do,there is always some strings attached . Have a good one Chris .

Use a ziplock bag when changing filters. You will never mess up your tractor again! I just did my cat 3208s on my boat and not one drop on the engine room floor.
  • I’ve done a lot of grinding in my life and have 2 tips for Robert: 1. hearing protection (wish I had taken this advice every time it was given) 2. Cover your watch, grinding will kill the face
  • Robert is a man of few words lol. He's a great guy. Maintenance is one of the key things for your success and it shows by the dependability of your equipment. Moo moo cows! I'm surprised that you don't have a manure spreader.
  • Farm sure is coming together!! Always enjoy the maintenance days and service work!! Usually it’s just you and the cows!!

Ole Big Elvis is happy by himself with all that green grass! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
  • Get a rake harrow for your tractor to rake out the strings. Even better, cut and remove the strings when you feed the bales.
  • I use to flush final drives etc out with diesel before refill get all old oil out.
  • They've been making various machines and vehicles that use oil for over 100 years and no one has come up with filters that snap in and out easily without creating a mess.
  • Just a gentle reminder….. you put out a teaser several weeks ago about a 330 add-on. Patiently waiting ….tap, tap, tap 😂

It’s good to see that you have Robert helping you Chris! There’s a sanding pad that would probably work better on the Mulcher teeth, Chris and it has a special backing plate that mounts on a small grinder. I believe that we used a 40 grit pad and it really cut fast on tough metals! We did a lot of grinding on a metal called, Inconel! It’s a material that the plants what become it holds up to heat and different types of abrasive materials! Just thought I’d let you know about them! Just a probably 6” sanding pad that has a special locking nut that attaches to a small angle grinder and it’s easy to change out, I would just spin it off by hand! Probably at any hardware store too! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
  • Taking care of equipment is number 1. Great job Chris. Happy you had a minute to spend on your own farm. Everything ready to move the cows and welcome spring. Have a good week.
  • Chris, if you use wrap on those hay bales instead of string you won't have that problem in the future. The worst thing about string if you don't pick it all up when you cut it, is when your cattle eat it. If it gets in their stomachs they can die! The strap is easier to see and pick up when you're feeding. Ask some of those old farmers you do work for.
  • Dang. I love my hearing. I wear hearing aids now because I was careless when I was younger running a grinder as an example

I thought I heard the mini say ahhh when you put the new oil in .
