  • Excellent tutorial. Now, at least I understand what they are and how they work. Big Thanks.
  • Thanks for your very clear and concise video, it has given me a great place to start fault finding.

These instructional videos are absolutely a God send, thank you. My 03 Honda Accord's AC was working fine and the other day simply started blowing warm air. Im hoping its a relay or switch but I heard a noise just before it happened so im thinking my clutch may have locked up. Anyways I can now use your videos to help track down the cause. Thanks again and God bless.

My 2005 Colorado truck only has 1 pressure switch. It's a 3 wire switch. I have 5v reference voltage at the red wire, continuity to ground at the black wire and the green wire must be the signal wire. This plug goes to the PCM. I have continuity for all 3 wires to the PCM so it's not a broken wire between the pressure switch to the PCM. If I remove the AC clutch relay and jumper the relay, the AC clutch engages and I have cold AC blowing. My problem seems to be that the AC clutch relay is not getting the positive signal to magnetize the coil and complete the connection in the relay to power the AC compressor clutch. Any idea what cna be causing that? My AC worked fine until revently. It went from cold to blowing hot, back and forth like that for a few times, then it's just been blowing hot ever since.

I have the three, on a 2011 Nissan Murano I hear nothing when trying the two outer side with the middle, when I try the two outside spots it kills the engine. This was checked on what I assume was the high side behind the radiator on this model.
  • Hey Paul! I recently bought a 2008 Honda Fit. I can hear the ac cycling on and off, as it’s blowing very cold. My question is, if it’s audibly cycling on/off every 30 seconds or so, is my clutch on its last leg? Or possibly something else? I can do the clutch by myself, but probably not the compressor. Thanks for a great channel, without annoying music and other unnecessary interruptions! ❤️

What causes the a/c to not blow cold unless the temperature is on the lowest setting?

Super helpful. I have a 2012 Ford Focus se. A/C not working. Clutch does not engage. Any other tips to try to self diagnos prior to going to a shop? (I do not have a trusted mechanic) 😔
