  • WOW, not seen a "Sight glass" since the 1980's. Didn't know some cars still had those!

You can slug liquid into the compressor if it is upside down. Liquids can't compress, so you can damage the compressor by injecting liquids into the suction side. Pressure is directly related to temperature.
  • So easy to follow, explained so comprehensively.Thank you .
  • @paulwharton1850

  • Hey Paul, great video! I have a Toyota Avensis,10 years old, with original aircon gas! Right now, here in Ireland,we are in the middle of hottest heatwave in over 100 years,so i am gonna try recharging aircon myself!! Thanks for info!
  • You expalin the process thoroughly and make it easy to follow. God bless you.
  • Used to recharge A/Cs by pressure. Now use a machine to recharge by weight of gas. Will never go back to the old method. Get it done properly it is worth the extra bucks.
  • When you are showing this the way you handle the gauge, the light is on it and I couldn't read it. Your video is very informative (me being a woman) it really made it easy. I probably won't be doing it myself but at least I am informed. God bless you and thank you in Jesus name.
