Mergim you are a true travel vlogger....you really know how to discover the gems in the places you go to!!! Cheers to more adventures may it be in the Philippines or in other countries.
  • @arturogarcia-oi4zc
Before, I watched your food vlog as educational. NOW, because you eat like a local, I begin to salivate and hungry watching your vlogs. But I can't get an original vigan langonisa near me this late in the afternoon here in Manila. Enjoy !!
  • @palladone8963
Nicole did a good job showing you the right places to go at.

One of your best vlogs is this in Vigan.โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ I wish more people will watch it. I had no idea how Vigan is like andโ€ฆ. Wow! This is the Philippines during the Spanish times - the buildings, karitela/kalesa, church, plaza, small streets, layout of the place is like in Spain. I was surprised how well preserved and clean it is. Thank you for taking us there and appreciate the history, food and place itself. Vigan longganisa is quite famous and all the others that you had. Some regions/provinces have their own version of longganisa and their take on adobo and other Filipino dishes. You should visit Pampanga for a culinary adventure as they are known for good food and crafts as well furnitures made there and the famous Lantern Festival in December before Christmas.

A very quaint looking street and square. Would love to visit Vigan. And the food looks insanely delicious.
  • @mildredlopez143
Thank you for showcasing Vigan... I've enjoyed watching it and also thank you for showing all the places you've been. Ilocanos are also very friendly. Philippine tourism has really a lot to offer. Take care as always Mergim! ๐Ÿ˜Šโค

I've never been to Vigan. This episode brought back some memories when I visited my Grandparents antique ancestral homes. The streets at night was so illuminated and the old designed homes and restaurants in both sides of the streets created a typical Spanish village in the colonial period. I feel like I was transported back to the 1900s while watching it. Good job๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
  • @elmeroamil6018
Canadian with Philippines ancestry, watching you makes me hungry and homesick of Filipino foodโ€ฆ
  • @arvinlumbris4447
Ive been to Vigan a beautiful with its rich Spanish colonial heritage especially at Calle Crisologo its like you just step into a time machine and went back to its old colonial era .
  • @murdaya69
who just got hungry after seeing these delicious foods? i know i did!
  • @luzmalamion6428
You should visit Baluarte ni Singson next time. And you must leave ilocos on daytime so can see the view of the ocean and the rice farms.... In Paoay you did not visit the Malacanang of the North.

Thank you as always for sharing your adventures, Mergim. You truly bring us closer to our home country. Next time explore mountain province: batad, banawe and sagada. You will never round out of places in the northern part of the Philippines. Mountain province, Apayao and Batanes.
  • @angelileones4655
my hometown. Havent been here for 22 years and so much has changed. I actually grew up on that very street you are in now which is so famous for tourists. Back in the late 90s, there were barely any lights nor establishments there and no tourists ever visited the city.
  • @buzz_chill
Mergim great idea sharing bibingka with the workers and for truly enjoying your Vigan trip to the point of being emotional when it was time to leave. We always look forward to your vlogs especially when you travel and explore the beauty of the ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ may it be in Vigan or any of the islands. For us, who are far away from the motherland, what you show us is the best ! You keep us entertained daily and we always get excited watching your vlogs!
  • @edsaintlouis9686
You missed out a lot in Ilocos Norte. There are water falls to visit, a vineyard called Adams, a lot of different white beaches, the light house, etc
