I armed an engineer squad with max upgraded browning auto 5 shotguns and the event 1911 swartz. It's like an assault squad that can always build a rally point and ammo for the team. Very strong situational.

The 105 Sherman is easily the best tank in br 3. It has stupid good he for infantry and plus if you hit an enemy tank in the mantlet it will one hit the tank, even panthers. I'm guessing it's because the shell will explode, forcing it's way through the weak top Armour. I've found it's also possible to kill tanks by shooting the ground under them, having the same effect as shooting the front of the turret, however it's much less reliable.

as a f2p player who did western allies br three is tough but fun i would focus from the very start anti tanks and machine gunners the bren guns will only carry you so far when you get to the browning 1918A2 machine gun you can use it like a smg but no smgs hit that hard it also feels like a very good 600rpm smg stable and very good sights and looks good too and you want to hold onto that up until the browning A6 machine gun that thing is fun also if u do want to get to the M2 carbines you do have to grind out the radio operator II squad which personally radio operators don't get kills consistently sometimes you can get a large amount but your better of with the basics machine guns smgs engineer fortification (anti tank, heavy MG nest) spam if your playing the US and your doing planes it gets better the P51 is very very good with 1k+ rounds of 50 cals and 2x 500lbs bombs and decent alerion and pitch control the Bristol beaufighter Mx dont be fooled it has alot of cannons and good rockets for infantry don't bother with vehicles with those rockets my highest kill at one time was 38kills so they can do a lot of damage if used right but sadly its tier 4 so don't use you will be up tired most of the time and if u have not noticed its also a flying brick just like the P47, Japanese aircraft will shoot u down just accept the defeat already if u come face to face with one it does have a rear gunner so if u are being tailed get low as possible so you have a chance for the gunner to get some hits on the enemy aircraft

Lanchester 50 from mini events is the best smg for br 3! With ammo pack it has 50+250 ammo, reload is fast and 50 bullet mag never ends. Simply best, i have 4 of them

The BARs are such a massive upgrade from the Brens, holy fuck. Especially the 3rd one, with improved iron sights and slow auto fire.

The scoped Gewehr 98 has the best demage of all sniper rifles. When maxed its pretty much alsways a one shot dead no matter where you hit, no matter if some obstacles are in the way.

This helps, finally grinding the American tree. Definitely agree with the various Bren MG line so far, honestly prefer even the Breda over them.

My fav is BR 3 because its a mix bag. You could get dog stomped or maul your enemy, there really is no middle ground. Anerican wise, the FP5 (i think its called) with 4 HVAR rockets & napalm bomb is my fav. Most of my soldiers carry molotovs or flamethrowers. Clear sections out with aggression 👹

Thompsons are not good for dual wielding, run too fast out of ammo (thommy + lanchester would be more useful bc they don’t share same mags). With bigger ammo pouches you can change mags faster (still have lot of fresh mags left) with tactical reloads.

I will say the p51 has downsides, it seems i always get out maneuvered by planes I go against and 50 cals in this game arent very effective for some reason, even 6 of them. The worst part is that your pilot will "black out" after the easiest bank and you pretty much are a vegetable for 5 or 6 seconds. It is in no way viable against an IAR that gets 20mm cannons and better pay load

Bar and colt monitor is all I need can go vs BR5 no problem and morons on the forum want it to go down in Br to Br2 . Wtf? They really want that pve mode vs Germans. Enfield is great, same with Br2 Paras that can equip them, 105mm Sherman kick ass. You can also equip two planes with rockets.
