One notable Iktotchi was the Sith Lord, Darth Cognus. Originally a bounty Hunter calling herself the Huntress, her powers of precognition were very strong, even for Iktotchi and she could even use the dark side to suppress the connections to the force, of those in close proximity, an ability she used to kill a Jedi Knight on one of her missions as a mercenary. Later she ended up choosing the name Cognus when Darth Bane offered to take her as his second apprentice, should Zannah, his first apprentice, fail to defeat him. After a fierce battle Zannah used Sith Sorcery to destroy her former master and Cognus became her apprentice, and next in line to the dynasty of evil that was the Rule of Two Sith. You can read about her (or listen - the audiobooks are amazing) in the third book of the Darth Bane trilogy, by Drew Karpyshyn.

The Yuuzan Vong can't be sensed by the force... Thats why the Iktotchi were incredibly shocked when their precognition failed them...

It would be cool if we could learn more about the species from Hutt space, like the Toydarians, Vodrans and Klatooinians, since the Nikto already have a video.

Homies tried to warn them, but they didn't listen. Oh well, Jedi Order at that time was so blind, arrogant, and corrupt that Anakin was destined to snuff out their "False Light"... then wipe out the Sith a couple decades later, of course. Next species covered suggestion - those weird size changing species that have 2 forms. I know there's at least 2 of them.

I give them credit for at least trying to warn the Republic and stop it all from happening. But when they were ignored, they just said screw it and stayed out of it. Kind of smart on their end and they just minded their own business.

The Iktotchi just like Kinan-Ha predicted future trouble and destruction only to be ignored. I wonder how many others predicted this too?

When the old republic came out I really hoped they would be one of the playable races, Saesse Tinn was actually one of my first episode 2 action figures.
