  • I'm a retired bed bugger owner operator who pulled for Allied Van Lines. I too knew how to drive in the snow. But after years of getting cocky about driving in snow and ice. I jacked knifed in a weigh station in Wisconsin, along with a UPS wiggle wagon, and a Flat Bed hauling rolled steel. So never say never. It can happen to anyone no matter how good a driver you are. P.S. love your channel!
  • I’m a 88yrs old woman really enjoy listening to you talking to yourself. You don’t use foul languages like other drivers. Hope I’ll find you again on my iPad. Good luck on the snow.

I enjoy your driving and the countryside.... man is that ever beautiful scenery!
  • Just drove through here yesterday for the first time ever! From Iowa to Arizona. Absolutely stunning landscapes through Colorado, Utah, Arizona ect.

I love this video. I drove semi 20 years ago, loved driving but my health started to interfere so I quit. I am 72 now, female, 4'11 was rare to see a woman driver then. I'll be watching your videos as I use to live in Colorado, know Vail pass, Wolf Creek pass, Smokey Mountains so many others. I drove all 48. Be safe out there, so appreciate all drivers.
  • I enjoy your I 70 videos thru Colorado. I lived in Vail for 5 years. Very much miss it!

🎶🎵 That's the sound of the men workin' on the chain ga-ah-ang!🎶🎵
  • Beautiful ride along, wish I was a trucker myself.. I love different types of weather conditions.. would make for an interesting day.

Thanks for the video. We have a condo in West Vail and saw you drive by it. B-i-L drives for DRPT Tankers so thanks for the safe truckers.
  • I love to see ALL the country you travel thru in ALL SEASONS. I feel like I'm holding down the passenger seat and just absorbing all the beauty in our country. Love the back roads best and watching you drive thru the snow. You have some serious driving and parking skills. Keep those wheels turning....our country depends on you delivering your loads what ever they are and where ever.

I love seeing the beautiful country side in your truck with you Mike. Plus learning driving tips.

They make us chain more for being able to stop and start again. Sure underway we're fine, traffic stops and you need to go you're done. What gets me is the 4 wheelers are also mandated to chain or have snow tires and 4x4.
  • @jschmid
That is sure some beautiful scenery.
  • The scenery is beautiful and you do a great commentary.I experienced some of this winter driving while driving for greyhound going from N.Y. to Cleveland Ohio,495miles of snow and ice.Once you pass milesburg PA the roads become very icy going through the mountains. But if you do as you were trained and hold your lane going in a straight easy path it all works out.you have to keep your concentration and do nothing crazy.Reduce your speed and increase your following distance is one of the keys. Thanks for The job you truckers do.it takes great skill. And never use the Jake brake on icy roads.

This greatly pleases me~ I miss Snow here in Germany...
  • @Doug_Morgan
Back when I used to run the west coast I had a set of cable chains with cams for tightening. They were great for severe ice but not so great for heavy snow or anything else. But on paved roads with ice they were the cat's meow. They ran extremely smooth and you could run them at much higher speeds.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep. Keep on rolling dude, best greets from Germany!
  • @Texas80
It's amazing that the government decided to build a freeway through some of the roughest terrain. Love our Interstate system. Thank you for sharing this trip.
  • I love hitting the open rode with you! Very clever. Thanks so much for sharing and stay safe!
