I'm 22 and just got my license last year there's no timeline on these things! Honoring what makes you comfortable is what's most important. Though I do wish I had done it sooner because it was RIDICULOUSLY easy and I had been psyching myself up for nothing

i don't know if this would actually work, but i always liked the idea of having blonde streaks in my hair and using hair chalk to colour them according to my outfits. you mentioned being done with your hair and wanting something dainty, so unless hair chalk is expensive or stains clothes maybe this could be an idea? you could keep it blonde for some outfits or colour it pink or red or anything but again idk if it is practical
