We are not a human experiencing the universe. We are the universe experiencing a human!
  • "It turns out that the world of people is a lot harder to understand than the entire universe" Amen to that, brother.

He has the capability to be a scientist and the sensibility to see through the material world. We actually need these sort of scientists, those able to make a link between the materialism or science and the spiritual meaning of what they observe through their job. They give the meaning, they see the “why” behind the observable matter.

“Maybe the meaning of our lives are actually not within the scope of our understanding…” I like how he puts it that way.
  • I love how he slows down at the end to choose his words wisely, he knows the value of the information he is giving and wants to make sure he it giving it justice

I love this. For someone going through an existential crisis, its comforting to be reminded that my person is contributing the universe on a grand scale by doing such simple things as breathing, by simply existing and giving away my energy to be used for a greater purpose.

Tom Chi's perspective on "everything in the universe being interconnected" not only allows us to better understand the universe surrounding us, but also transforms our relationships with each other and with the world. Through the stories of the heart, the breath, and the mind, he provides us with a new perspective on how we can shape our lives and society. Moreover, I was mesmerized by Chi's stories explaining how iron from supernovas ends up in our blood, how cyanobacteria transformed Earth's atmosphere, and how human creativity expands the "Palette of Being". These stories remind us of how our actions and decisions can influence not just us, but the entire universe. After watching this video, I feel more motivated to pay more attention to what is happening in the world and the direction of our lives. Indeed, understanding that everything is interconnected strengthens our ability to build our lives and societies in a more conscious and meaningful way. I encourage everyone who watches this video to discover how this perspective can make a difference in their own lives.

This was the most inspirational and eloquent way of rephrasing what a Buddhist monk said in the 17th century this young man is inspiring The monk “ when I was young I wanted to change the world when I couldn’t change the world I tried to change my country when I couldn’t change my country I tried to change my village when I couldn’t change my village I tried to change my family and when I was old I realized if I just tried to change myself then that would’ve inspired my family to change and they would’ve influenced the country to change and that could’ve changed the world
  • Ancient Hindus said: "Tat vam asi", meaning "You are That" Looks so profound after listening to your speech! Thank you so much!!
  • As a person who is low in iron.. 16+ blood infusion… 30+ iron infusions.. it all makes sense.. I have been obsessing over energy and how we feed off everyone’s energy. This makes so much sense.
