ICAA Travel Revisited: Château de Saulon, France, with Valentin Goux

Published 2021-08-10
Valentin Goux, president of interior design firm RINCK, presents a tour of the company's restoration of the Château de Saulon in France. Presented by the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), the new series ICAA Travel Revisited celebrates travel and the exploration of the world's great destinations for architecture and design.

Located in the heart of Burgundy's renowned wine region, this château originated in the 16th century, and was completely rebuilt in the 17th after it had been destroyed. Most recently, after having served for years as a hotel of average quality, the Château de Saulon was given a thorough rejuvenation by RINCK, resulting in this stunning transformation into a boutique hotel featuring reintroduced mouldings, picturesque wallpapers, rich textiles, and inspired colors. Join Valentin for the full tour!
