  • When they said natural droidekas, I was already thinking about the insectoid species - the colicoid - that heavily resembles them. I mean, they look like Doridekas when they're not transformed into a ball. I got confused for a moment. And if this species forced the Empire to make peace with them, then they are force to be reckoned with.

Lurmen: pacifists after major change in homeworld (I don't know how they fled their home) Amani: adapted to their homeworld
  • @Obiwan7100
If a Force-sensitive Amani were split in half, would both have access to the Force?
  • @brokenbridge6316
The Amanin had to be truly be badass to force the Galactic Empire to make peace with them and force concessions out of them. The Kaleesh are the only other species I can think of that made that happen.

8:39 The Imperial conflict with these Zulu Armadillos was the "textbook good guy Imperial" Janek Sunber's first if not ever crowning achievement. Bonus points for being Luke's childhood buddy. P.S. His first mention was in the A New Hope novelization.

I always thought of the colicoids where the "natural" version of droidrekas
  • @amanzeihedioha
Oh yeah I remember this guys from the Star Wars Empire comic. Such a cool series.
  • @marshalllatta2073
I love them The amani are so scary looking and cool let's hope we see more of them in star wars
  • @zexalbrony4799
So these guys have multiple vital organs and can regenerate. Man, and here I thought Sith, other Dark Siders, and Gen'Dai were tough to kill. lol.
  • @dagdamor1
That comic was so raw, both for the battle and my introduction to Janek Sunber.
  • @inquisitorgarza312
A world filled with dangerous meat eating monster who are very intelligent creatures who created some of the most destructive battle droids in the Confederacy Droid Army, and quite frankly they some of the “Alien” culture that one would expect from a large Galaxy in Star Wars, but perhaps the Anamin are perhaps more biologically related to the Hutts considering how they biology allowed them to shrug off major wounds.
  • @AdamTehranchiYT
So the Neimoidians were mammals with invertebrate traits like larval young and the Amanin were invertebrates with mammalian traits like arms and legs. Stuff like this is why Star Wars is so cool.
  • @panzertank5811
I have this comic it was one of the few comics showing the positive and negatives of being a imperial officers and soilders
  • @lerneanlion
I think it is the best interests for the Amanin and the Lurmen colonists to band together to defend their home. Tee Watt Kaa isn't going to live forever. So when his son or someone else who disgreed with his ideology steps in as the new leader of the colony, they might be able to find the common ground with the Amanin and defend themselves from the other invaders.

How decent of the worm-folk to respectfully keep their gross yet natural dietary tendencies to themselves. No like seriously, that's a very respectful thing to do for a race of literal worm people. Also: I have a list of reasons not to visit any of the ancient mesoamerican civilizations (particularly the Mayans because of the fear of being sacrificed to Quetzalcoatl and a Sam O'Nella gag.) The idea of two groups of people literally about to start slaughtering each other, instead of ambush each other, choose to coordinate the fight like it's a high school fight is both hilarious and really cool
  • @macwade2755
This is Canon for me! I hope that one day the unfinished Clone Wars episodes will one day be fully animated and released!
  • @Odinfang
They have such a high speed rolling that I believe a force sensitive Amani would be quite dangerous with force speed. Imagine rolling at such a high speed that you effortlessly flatten storm troopers moving like a blur 😂
  • @TheSandwhichman108
Anyone wanna bet a few separatists travelers encountered the aminin and took inspiration for the droidika’s rolling ability?
  • @raztaz826
Regrowing after being cut in half would be really useful with all the arm-cutting that happens in SW
