About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

All In The Family was and always will be the greatest comedy show ever.
  • This world is not the same without Carroll O'Connor and Jean Stapleton! Brilliant comedy legends!
  • @kathconserv
Carroll O’Connor was a legend. Archie Bunker is my all time favorite television character.
  • This is only a drop in the bucket of his funniest moments.
    What an actor. A legend.
  • Growing up in a black family in the late 70s we wasn't allowed to watch All in the Family because of Archie views of black people but I'm now 47 and this is one of my favorite shows to watch before I go to sleep. I love this entire cast. I love how it showed realness of other people thoughts. He didn't hate black people he just had his own weird thoughts of how we are lol. This was good tv and now everyone is so sensitive about everything
  • "All in the Family" is the best TV comedy series ever! The entire cast had pure raw talent and comedic timing! The writers were geniuses... RIP C.O. and J.D.!

I was 12 when this show premiered. The whole family watched and we laughed and repeated the best lines and laughed again! What a time. America was not so divided and understood humor is just humor. Not a put down.
  • Archie Bunker's facial expressions and his hands the way he does it fascinates me whenever Edith keeps on talking

Every time I watch these, I miss my dad more and more. This was his favorite show. He died in his sleep when I was 16. I never had a chance to say goodbye. But I’ll always remember his laughter at this show.
  • These old shows are a time when people had humor and weren't offended by everything under the sun. These were good times!

I wish there was still a show like this. It’s been a long time…
  • Im surprised at how many people are shocked when I say that we watched All in the family when I was growing up because we are black but we loved it! Archie was hilarious and Edith was so funny and sweet and lost.😂 Just thinking about the episode with Sammy Davis Jr. 😂😂😂😂
    Love this show ❤
