6:41 Someday I'll put eyelashes on her... The MIB Rosenberg head was fdm except for the alien and the levers. The lighting was fiber optics instead of using 50 individual leds.

The direct drive ERRCF seems totally obvious now. It doesn't need pushing force it needs rpm to get the long filament paths moved fast. I still think the whole system needs refining but maybe LDO can kick it along. I assumed their kit would be just like all the others adding LED's to a fragile and intricate system.
