One huge thing that will make your life easier about training your children, is to remember they are not you. The best a mom can do is to show them how a chore is done and then let them do it. They will resent you if you try to make them like you. It will make them feel like they will never measure up if you try to make them be like you. They are them and you are you.
  • I do enjoy your videos. It amazes me that after decluttering, which started near the end of 2019, I still declutter things every week. It's easy now. I don't miss anything, keeping my home easy to clean and fast. I gave up shopping for fun, saving me thousands of dollars. My savings account is happy!

Hi Ali, im not against medication. As a matter of fact, i used to have meds for every little thing. However, as i got older and realized meds are just a bandage to the root of the problem. I seek podcasts of Drs who use alternative medicine to treat their patients ailments. As a general rule, this are the core ingredients to a better health. Our body is made up of 98% water. If we are dehydrated our body begins to act up. Did you know thst most of our mental issues are due to our brain not being hydrated enough? It blew my mind. A game changer for me. So, here are the ingredients our body needs. Water, sun, enough adecuate sleep, meditation. Meditating on God and His Word is the very best meditation ever., a well balanced diet. I stick mostly to Mediteranean diet. Stay away from sugar. It creates inflamation leading to pain. Other diets may be also good but I stick to the one that suits me. Last but not least a walk after dinner. Exercise is excellent, but if not able at least a good daily walk is good. I no longer take any meds and feel good for the most part. Of course, when the body was built in the wrong foundation, lack of the above, consequences happen and the journey begins. Sooner than later i will be completely healed. God has giving us everything we just need to use it to our advantage.

I love these longer videos, I put them on the TV whilst I work. I enjoy the motivation and the company!
  • You are not alone. Thank you for this channel, your genuine honesty and congratulations on all of your accomplishments!

Thank you! Iā€™m a fairly new subscriber. Your videos have helped so much. The biggest lesson in decluttering for me is to acknowledge an impulse buy or thing I am not using anymore and let it go. I donā€™t get my money back by keeping it. It just contributes to more stress. The act of donating it also reminds me to be more considerate of my purchasing in the future.

I have been decluttering my house since lockdown,I retired last December and Iā€™m finally getting my home decorated now I have a empty nest my youngest Daughter has recently become a mummy herself on the 8/4/ and is now in her own home,so organising her bedroom as a spare room for my mumma for when she visits and the grandchildren come to have sleepovers,My life is still busy Iā€™m a full time carer for my hubby and his mother now need extra help she has recently been diagnosed with dementia. My Sons room Iā€™m going to turn into a little craft room with a desk so more decluttering to do maybe next months project. Now to decorate my bedroom as I have some new furniture coming from IKEA at the end of this month,Thank you for giving the motivation,I just love your channel.

I just found you today. I really loved this video. I will be watching all your videos. Please don't apologize for things like shaky hands and your speech. You're wonderful and very relatable. I think that's why I enjoyed your video so much. Have a wonderful Spring/Summerā¤
  • Ali, I truly believe God helped me find your channel. I am in the same place you were a few years ago. I follow many declutering, cleaning channels, but yours is different. Hearing you express yourself about being tried and stressed and always cleaning is like hearing myself talk. I got so overwhelmed with life events and having to always have a tidy house, it drove me to current be on antidepressant. It's nice to hear I am not alone. This is the first of your videos I watch and can't wait to see more. THANK YOU for being genuine. Thanks to this video, I think I will be okay. Keep doing what you are doing.

Your decluttering videos are immensely helpful to me. Thank you..especially for the thinking out loud aspect. I don't feel as alone in some of the tough decisions that will ultimately benefit our home. Kudos!
  • I cleaned my fridge while watching!!! Thank you for the encouragement ā¤ļøšŸ˜Š

I love how u show what you can do in 15 mins. I tend to want whole kitchen done all at once. Iā€™m going to try your idea of task for 15 min šŸ˜Š Thanks
  • @Rachel-ul8et
Clutter hot spots in a house with kids is a pretty constant task. Currently have a carload of donation stuff in the garage right now. You are very clear, and inspiring. My 15minutes this week will be loading up the car and driving to the donation center. Not today. I have a cold so Iā€™m watching motivational videos today. You are great
  • Hey Niiiice ahhh i love when bags are filled and homes actually decluttered. Not stuff put in another boxes and re-organized in the same place arrg i canĀ“t stand watching that crap. I declutter stuff i do not organize until iĀ“m completely done then i clean.
  • Just found you. You donā€™t ramble. You explain what you are doing and why helps us in our decision-making process. I love decluttering videos. Iā€™m subscribing. I donā€™t use wash clothes either. Donā€™t feel guilty! Hanging onto things isnā€™t going to improve anything. As I am currently decluttering and reorganizing my house, I have donated a trunk and back seat full of things I donā€™t use anymore to Goodwill and 2 trunks full to our local Hospice resale shop. It takes the sting out knowing they will be put to better use than taking up space on the garage shelves. As for me, clutter is extremely stressful for me. I am including visual clutter. I hate to have to search for anything and I have learned that if you have a place for everything you are much more likely to put things where they belong. Repetition will make it a good habit in little time. You are just like millions of us, including me! Today, I put the oven on to preheat. That would take about 5 minutes. Instead of sitting down until it was ready, I went over to the dog corner and reorganized the drawer for their meds, leashes, etc. and it looked wonderful! And I felt great. ā¤ Shirley
  • Tip: hang measuring spoons or even measuring cups inside cabinet door with command hooks. Frees up drawer space for something else. Mine are hanging on my spice cabinet ( upper) beside my stove. Also I hang my oven mitts inside upper cabinet by oven and that frees up another drawer.
