They selected people based of what they felt they needed. It’s not about being better or jrue wouldn’t be on the team. Tyrese is the only prototypical point guard on the roster and Jalen can’t replace that

Biggest thing Brunson missed out on was working with all these generational players closely for 2 months. Typically a few young players really grow to another level after the Olympics, weve seen it all the time. Even after FIBA 2023, a lot of the guys on that team made a leap this past season. So, I expect ant and Hali to make huge jumps coming into next season. It is what it is, jbs gonna come back with a vegenance for sure
