Following a suspected Hezbollah attack on the Golan Heights, Israel has vowed Hezbollah will pay “a heavy price.” Dr Amal Saad says it is “unlikely Israel will be able to fight on more than one front” but there is always “fear of miscalculation.”

As I understand it The Golan was Syrian before 1967 Except for Israel and USA the territory is considered "occupied territory" similar to the West Bank. Israel has been creating illegally settlements similar to the WB The casualties on the football field were Syrian Many believe it was an Israeli strike

None of the 12 victims are Israeli citizens. The Druze residents were offered Israeli citizenship but most refused. They do have Israeli residency cards but they are not Israelis. They are Syrian citizenship.
