bro im A 31 year old washed up musician who gave up and accepted my misery and I found shake yesterday and i am feeling a level of inspiration to fucking come back to life .

My soul levitate each time I listen to this song, it’s quite psychedelic 👁💀

So no one is going to go off in detail about how amazing the video is with the song? Like in the beginning when she has in ink the phrase skin and bones on her eyelids; you can only see that when her eyes are closed! That's DEEP. As we don't necessarily have to use our eyes to see ones soul! If you get it you get it.. Also I appreciated the lyric she sings that says "I know nothing, I know I don't." That's one of the deepest lyrics in this song, as she drops her ego! Marilyn Monroe look alike was another way to show a person who was treated like a pair of skin and bones. The stripper as well. Sure we don't have context about the couples in the vid but the lyrics can emphasize how despite the role of the stripper, or actor, or the dancers, there was that one person that looked at not just their body but their personality and soul. Also, y'all catch the interracial couple? It's a double sided situation. You can easily be judged for being light skin and can be judged for being darkskin; and this can definitely intensify while you're in an interracial relationship. Notice how in the beginning of the video the couples are in deep thought and a state of disconnection? Soon as the drop of the song changed the couples kissed and nothing mattered. Not the environment, age, situation, skin color etc. Also I don't know if they planned this but the way her jacket went from black to red hits different. The song itself definitely is giving psychedelic trip vibes. I can go on but I say less.

Why is 070 Shake not a massive international superstar? Their music has literally changed my life. I feel like I can finally feel again because of the relatability.

The last lines where she says “Maybe next life you’ll be mine again” somehow hit me so hard idek what it is 😭 I kinda think because this reminds me of losing someone you love and hoping that when your time is up, you will meet them again in heaven hopefully 😢
