They have been complaining about crowd attendence for years. Now that it has increased, they hate the person who caused the increased fan base. Go figure.

In the first month of this season, the attendance at games reached 400,000. That is a record attendance for the first month. Attendance in games that CC22 and the Fever played in had 195,081 in attendance. That means that 204,919 people attended all the other games in the league that CC22 and the Fever did not play in. The Fever and CC22 account for almost half of the ticket sales in the WNBA. 48.8% to be exact. Now who the hell is Carrington?

Caitlin has handled herself very well and has not said a word in retaliation. In a world filled with jealously and racism she handles herself with maturity. Not even when she was snubbed by the Olympic team. Now no one cares how they do and probably will not watch.

Nothing like biting the hand that feeds you.... some of these players will never get it. More popularity for their sport, regardless of who is responsible (Caitlin Clark!) is a good things for ALL of them. More fans coming to the games equals more money for the league and the teams to spend on..... player salary, and charter planes, and other things that help them all. Instead, some players will continue to be spiteful... and resent the very reason the league is having more success. Crazy.
