List of famous white men who are or were married to black women. Proving that love sees no color, some of the most well-known and powerful duos are of mixed races. From Oscar-winning actors, to rock and roll icons, and even up-and-coming stars, there are several notable caucasian men in Hollywood who have fallen in love with a black woman, most of whom are celebs themselves. A picture perfect example of one such pair is David Bowie and Iman. The British rocker married the Somali-American model in 1992 and seem more in love than ever before. Robert De Niro's first wife Diahnne Abbott acted in supporting roles in several of his films including Taxi Driver. The couple divorced in 1988 and nine years later, De Niro married actress and singer Grace Hightower.

A new generation of interracial couples are popping up in the entertainment industry and even collaborating professionally. British screenwriter Ol Parker met actress Thandie Newton while working on a BBC film and married in 1998. R&B singer Robin Thicke began dating actress Paula Patton when he was 16 and they married in 2005. Thicke and Patton even co-starred in his 2006 hit music video "Lost Without U." Soon, one of Hollywood's most legendary filmmakers will join the club as George Lucas announced his engagement to businesswoman Mellody Hobson in January 2013.

Who cares what race people marries. I don't understand this obsession with race. Maybe we ought to make videos about "10 celebrities who married people with larger noses than their own" or "10 celebrities who married people with a different hair color than their own". The black ladies have their own wealth and are not gold diggers which is what many people assume and formulate from preconceived notions. When a black lady is seen with a white man in some societies the expressions (facial and body) gives away the negative thoughts of the person staring at them. I have been to a sufficient number of society events to witness this. Acceptance into a 'different' or 'traditional' society can be a challenge for couples. Whether the couple are of mixed heritage or not. The best that anyone can do is to stand firm in the knowledge that you are equally as good as anyone else who appears different to you. Once you know the rules of the games in societies, the path becomes much smoother. Good manners and etiquette = the basic foundation to counter any nonsense from others who deem they have the monopoly on social class because of their skin colour. People show their fear because their insecurities come to the surface when they are taken out of their comfort zone. Master the insecurities and you master the fear.

Hey there is nothing wrong with a black women marrying or dating a white man I find that to be beautiful thing beside white men seem to apreciate black women more than black men do that what ive have seen anyway
