I have a few sets of Gansai Tanbi. They are lovely and shimmery! But I rarely use them unless on holiday paintings. Thanks, Louise! Your video was inspiration to try them on other work.

Thank you so much for this post, Louise. My nephew gave me the Kuritake set which I love as well as some Primatek paints and some interference paints. I never know what to do with them! The seagull is gorgeous.

Always I am enamored - watching you paint, especially with voiceover. Questions - what paper do you use for a graphite drawing in advance of a watercolor of that subject, and what is your preferred method of transferring your drawing to watercolor paper? Thank you.

🤣😊😂 Love the bloopers! Thanks for the examples of how to use sparkly paints. I have several of the duochrome and primatek paints so appreciate seeing how I can better use them. Also, only have one of the metallic paints in gold. Love having a bit of sparkle.
