  • Nice work, doc. As usual. Hopefully, this won’t be worst case scenario.
  • I enjoyed your video. I am glad your content is about explaining injuries. Keep up the good work. 👍
  • Absolutely love these videos. Great detail but not over complicated! Go Bills!

Could you take a look at the injury that happen to the Kentucky punter this weekend while being hit in the kicking motion . It looked pretty bad and was wondering what injuries could be sustained from that sequence .
  • When I was 17 years old, I injured my elbow. Pitched 6 additional games before I was finally appropriately diagnosed. By then I had completely torn my UCL off my bone. Adrenalin and Bandit Brace was all I used. So to say he was fine because he made a couple throws afterwards is a strong stretch. Guy just has grit. I could tell right away there was an issue with how he was flexing his arm after each throw.

Funny thing is after this. He threw the longest Air yards throw in the last 5 years. 70 yards...

Thanks for the info. Cover the Bills for a podcast and info like this is super helpful. Just earned a sub! THANKS!
  • I tore my UCL in college pitching. When I was trying to assess how bad the injury was I couldn’t throw a baseball farther than 10 feet without pain but could throw a football still around 40 yards with no pain at all. [I could throw a football at that time prior to injury around 60 yards] I think it’s just an easier load on the elbow so when you go into lay back the stress doesn’t peak nearly as high or as fast as when throwing a baseball.
  • This DR doesnt miss. Some of the best content on the internet.
  • I was curious what this injury entailed. Thx Doc. Excellent as always
  • Very informative. I actually understand a little bit about the elbow now.
  • Excellent presentation! As a retired ATC, you nailed it and put it in words we can all understand. And I love the skeleton of Bird...Go Sycamores (alum '85)!

He needs to sit out a week... he's their franchise player.
