Man… Got me In tears. You can see how much Damar truly values these professionals for saving his life and doesn’t take it for granted. Very moving.

The fact that, instead of raising the award in the air, they pulled Damar into their arms to comfort him through his tears speaks volumes for the humans on that stage. ❤

I want to just flat out say that the training staff did not just “do their job” the day Damar Hamlin passed- they saved the life of a man in front of over 60,000 people in Cincinnati and over 3,000,000 watching on television. They had to work under all that pressure and still saved Damar’s life- it has been so beautiful seeing Damar begin to become so outright thankful for everything, and he can play 1 game next year and he’ll still win Comeback Player of the Year, because no matter how bad you were previously, overcoming death is the greatest achievement

As a Bengals fan, I am so proud of our city and everyone on both teams who held his life in their hands. Such a touching video.

Has to be one of the most deserving and impactful sports awards ever presented. There isn't a better embodiment of our hero Pat Tillman. Can't imagine how much love Damar feels. What an amazing group of physicians.

The Bills medical staff must've felt more anxiety than all of us, as they knew it was their responsibility from then on to save Damar's life in front of millions of people watching. They knew how to act, they put their training to the test, and proved how skilled they are and that their job matters a lot. We can never have enough people educated in academics and sciences. It's both game changing and life changing knowledge to have.

I believe Travis Kelsey was the first person to stand up in the audience to lead the ovation for Demar and the men and woman who helped to revive Damar!❤

Real life hearos but also a huge thank you to the hospital, the staff, and doctors who were there in Cincinnati who were also part of saving Damar's life

This is what I love the most about being alive. When humans treat each other like this ❤❤

There's always that ESPYs moment that rightfully, we all come back to for years on end. Stuart Scott's speech, Craig Sager....too many to name at the moment. Damar and the Bills training staff joined that club tonight. What a powerful message and moment.

Seeing him collapse on live TV was literally the most horrifying incident I've ever seen. I'm glad that he recovered and god bless Bills training staff (and other medical staff who were involved)!!! Some heroes don't wear capes and they are definitely real heroes the world need right now!!!
  • Nah they foreal saved a life that night!! Saw it live as it happened and it still feels like a dream , unbelievable he’s alive and well!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
  • I, and most medics i know can’t look at Damar at not immediately start sobbing. That man is a miracle. That’s a miracle. And when you get a save like that, it helps you continue being a medic/doctor for all the ones you can’t. Just incredible. Miracle.
  • I have been an athletic trainer for 22 years. I was in tears seeing this. He's right they were just doing their job. We practice these scenarios everyday. We hope we never have to use CPR or an AED but it absolutely saves lives. Seeing Damar's genuine emotion and gratitude is beautiful. I'm soooo proud of these athletic trainers and our profession.
