I'm a young man from a small town in southern Africa hoping to lead my hometown out of poverty. Coming across this just verified it that it's my calling to serve my people. I have enjoyed learning from this wise man. Such a treasure

All Harvard department chairs and funders, members of Congress, past, current and future presidents of the U.S. , members of our U.S. Supreme Court, and current and future governors of our states should learn from Mr. LEE Kuan-Yew, an absolutely brilliant and courageous statesman who was NOT concerned about being politically correct!!! He did whatever he believed would reduce crime, poverty, social tensions and increase prosperity in his country!

Uniquely straightforward and insightful. No mincing of words. LKY has been dead for six years and I’m still learning important things from him.

  • So happy to find a full speech by Mr Lee Kuan Yew. He must have had countless speeches videotaped by event organizers throughout his long career. Institutions keeping such archives really should release more of his speech videos on youtube or other publicly accessible online media.

When I was young my whole family will gather to listen to his speech for two hour during National Day or before you will not get bored his speech is lively and you will learn something new in a few other languages

Highly rational & pragmatic leader, with absolute focus on the needs of his people and country positive developments. His personal commitment, integrity, unwavering leadership based upon meritocracy and constant lookout for future state of affairs in the country had differentiated him from other failed leaders. Ultimately, Singapore citizens benefit and hope the younger generation would continue to steer Singapore based upon those positive attributes.
