It's funny how your "eye witness" who admitted he has never been to Iran has the exact same views as the Iranian government
  • Ive never been to iran before is the line most telling. He knows nothing.

I know Iranian immigrants who have family there. They are not ALL in step with the ambitions of Islamist ideology. Many are Christians desperate for freedom.

African American here. His experiences match mine exactly. I've never been to Iran but I've known Iranians. Before and after 1979. I was always struck how dignified and proud they are; how steeped they are in their history and rich culture. They KNOW their past! Ancient and recent history. How patient they are. How they are not to be played with.

I'm Iranian and I can tell you that 5-10% of the population support the regime based on ideology or interest. In addition, many people who work for public institutions such as schools are basically forced to attend these kinds of ceremonies. The vast majority of Iranians despise the regime and have only seen repression and poverty.

Saying that the Ayatollah is no different from queen Elisabeth is a wild take... What clown.

Hmmm. ‘First time to Iran’ reporter? Not sure this is the best source of info on the subject.
  • On what planet is Azerbaijan close to Israel? It is surely not on planet Earth. Israel is on the Mediterranean Sea. Azerbaijan is on the Caspian Sea. There are 4 countries between them. Pretty big ones at that. How can we trust this guy on the report?
