Honestly Sam Hauser is hella underrated. Bro clamped in the playoffs and was basically a guaranteed bucket.

his rebounds is what impresses me the most

reason why it is a wings league....forcing turnovers is more important than rim protection. Twenty blocks a game doesn’t win games if opponent shoots 40% from three and getting 20 FT. However, twenty turnovers is twenty extra possessions for a team to score. Steals>blocks.

Don’t sleep on Anton Watson. He’s a great baller and his defense is solid. Celtics got dudes.

Good analysis, and good vid. Thank you. Unless I missed it (which happens), you didn't cover his defense. I really hope we keep Hauser. Besides the early part of the playoffs, everything shot he took this year seemed to go in. And he's an underrated defender.

Schierman looks close to a finished product. Same with the kid from Gonzaga. When you have a championship team and they are relatively young as this team is, why not draft 23 year olds? Both draftees will be 24 or close to it by season start. Stay in school kids! Enjoy your college years.

The second I read he was a lefty with >30% 3pm I said welcome to Boston, when I read his stats in 37 minutes I said welcome to the rotation. It’s good he has his game formed, Brad and Joe are gonna make sure he elevates his skills, his size is what we need, the rest of his game is just a bonus.

I watched a bunch of his defensive tape too. It's not as bad as people make it out to be. Sure he gets beat of the dribble at times, but so dont the best defenders in the league. The effort is there, he has good instincts, rotates his hips well, good feel for clogging the passing lanes, and has the size to defend up to the 5 if need be. I think once he gets in the league with pro coaches and trainers he'll be able to improve his quickness. We watched Hauser go from a minus to plus defender in 2 years. I think Scheierman is starting at average and has a higher ceiling.

even purzingis still resting. kornet and queta are 7foot of celtics. still scary. and they draft two 6’8 3pointer!

When we do a re-draft 4-5Y from now, baller shooterman will be a top 10-15 player of his draft class. Excellent playmaker (did play backup pg for creighton), excellent shooter and crashes the glass. Defense is suspect but only against shifty guards. Has an offensive bag and doesnt shy away from contact. He will break into this rotation in the 1st 2 months of the season and play when Joe goes small over bjg (baylor vs. Queta) and when al sits on the 2nd night of a B2B. Should replace Sam hauser in Y2 in case Sam prices himself out of the celtics range.

I'm a Celtics fan, but I think everyone from every fan base is always overly optimistic on draft picks. With that said, I hope he contributes this season, that would be a great bonus. If he does contribute in any significant way Brad is on his way to getting his own statue.

The question will be can you play defense, can he move laterally against quick small forwards or quick guards
  • @anthonys3906
Brad is a crazy analytical guy, you know he ran spreadsheets on the dude to find a scheme ready player. It’s easier to teach skill than sport IQ so the projected star player doesn’t always equal difference maker.
