I used to work in this neighborhood on Austin Street, and still live nearby on the other side of Union turnpike. I love the Kew Gardens/Forest hills area, great blend of urban/suburban and the people are generally friendly and neighborly

Hi Actionkid . 4:17 The building you showed on the right side across the street from Tsakiris Mallas and Anne salon was a former Rite Aid pharmacy according to Google Maps. Former Rite Aid pharmacy was turn into a temporarily spirit Halloween store at some point if Iโm not mistaken. There is 2 entrances to the former Rite Aid pharmacy. One on 71st continental Ave near closed Boston Market restaurant and the other one at Austin street. Five Below used to be Buffalo Wild Wings and staples. I think Game stop used to be there and now it closed. There is a good Chinese restaurant called Memories of Shanghai that my mom Emily loved until they closed for good. 30:19 This used to be one story Key Food supermarket.

Same old NYC story at 22:00 . The store needs their supplies ASAP . The delivery person has to adhere to his schedule . He does not have the time to go all through in area to find parking and double park in front . All the people passing in the area are ticked off . Feel sorry for the people who need a first responder in the area ASAP .

Nice walk in a nice area. I follow Paul's Portals and he has walked Forest Hills old homes and they are gorgeous. I love the yards and architecture on these homes. And I think the Sara Lee driver went on lunch break.

Don't forget to try Gloria's pizza when you are there sometime. They moved from Flushing to Forest Hills. A friend who is a New Yorker swears by that pizza as being the best in NYC. I don't know if it's true but that's what I heard.
