🔥 ABOUT THIS VIDEO 🔥

Prepare to buckle up and join me, Chris Palmer, CFI and founder of Angle of Attack, on a special journey! This video captures an uncharted camping trip in the untouched Alaskan wilderness, featuring incredible aerial shots, moments of vulnerability, and precious family time. We're taking a leap into an airport that isn't even on the map!

🌐 ANGLE OF ATTACK 🌐

Before we dive in, let's take a moment to talk about Angle of Attack. As a unique flight school, we strive to revolutionize aviation instruction. Our aim is to create the most engaging and educational material, marrying quality with excitement. If you're passionate about aviation, consider joining our community: www.angleofattack.com/

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FAMILY TIME 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Family is at the core of this adventure. As someone who juggles the responsibilities of entrepreneurship, family, and passion for aviation, it's crucial for me to find a balance. My wife and kids had already set up our campsite, and I flew in to join them, making the entire trip a family affair.

🌦 WEATHER CHALLENGES 🌦

In Alaska, weather can be unpredictable. The journey begins with some cloud cover and a bit of rain. With the help of my ground crew and communication with the Homer Radio, I make sure that we're prepped and safe for the voyage ahead. Join me in the cockpit as your virtual co-pilot!

🛬 LANDING AT AN UNCHARTED AIRPORT 🛬

The thrill of aviation is amplified when you're landing on an uncharted runway. With tall trees surrounding the small strip of land, precision and skill are key. Thanks to the experience I've gained through Angle of Attack and countless hours of flying in diverse conditions, I'm able to navigate the landing safely.

🏕 CAMPING IN THE WILD 🏕

Upon landing, it's time for some quality family time! From s'mores to fishing, this trip was a perfect blend of adrenaline-pumping aviation and tranquil relaxation. Moreover, my in-laws were there to make it a grand family outing, a significant part of our Alaskan lifestyle. We believe in spending time in nature to connect and to instill those values in our kids.

🛫 THE JOURNEY BACK HOME 🛫

Flying back home is another challenging task, as I have to ensure the safety of my most precious cargo—my family. This part of the journey emphasizes the need for meticulous planning, proficiency, and an unyielding commitment to safety, the hallmarks of Angle of Attack's philosophy.

🎥 VIDEOGRAPHY & PHOTOGRAPHY 🎥

My first passenger flight I took both our kids around the pattern. My wife reminded me I had it ALL in the plane with me. Thanks to my great wife for trusting me.
  • @thomasyuhas
Your son yelling the AOA trademark “CLEARRR” made me laugh out load. What a beautiful family. You are blessed.
  • I'm one of Chris's Online ground school students from a different town, 75% Complete, I had my first flight the other day, just from what I've learned in that time my CFI was shocked that I had never flown a plane before, told me that I flew like I've been in training for a while and am very far ahead of where people are on their first flight. Gotta give that all to Chris for supplying me with all the knowledge and skills training, the online training made me feel extremely comfortable in the plane because I knew what I was supposed to be doing and looking for. 10/10 Recommend Angle of Attack ground school, worth every nickel.

Your son was well trained. The "clear" and the call sign was awesome. Your family expresses the message you gave through the video. They are the most important part of life. Congratulations to you for such a great family.

Watching and hearing what goes on in your mind while flying you’re family, even others makes me feel less alone in my thought process. Great attitude and solid advice. I’ve flown my kids and very close family and their kids and that thought is always there.. Keep enjoying your family, they are everything we as parents sacrifice for. I think you hit on a lot of topics I fight with internally.

Moved outside for work and miss AK fiercely, so I now vicariously live in AK through your videos. Strange seeing you in the left seat though. Thanks for sharing.
