So, is Fran a pessimist or a realist?! Again appreciate her time for the conversation — and let us know if you all have ideas for other people we should invite to the Summit Series!
  • I adore this woman. She is certainly no phony. Straight talking, intelligent, witty, an observer and awake.
  • @ingledoo58
Fran, I'm so glad you're on this Earth!

Fran is always a delight. I knew her mother and father. She sounds like her mother and delivers the punchline like her father. Good people. All of them.

I'm 63 years old and I found Fran Leibowitz by accident as recently as five years ago. I always find her fascinating to listen to. This was a good interview - not too serious, quite varied of subjects, and Ari's reverence for her was palpable. She is definitely a product of her time, and yet she is also very aware of the world around her today. As I say, fascinating! I didn't want it to end. Thank you for putting this on YouTube.
  • Listening to this interview, I would like to comment that even if the truth hurts, I would rather hear that than being lied to.
  • @Mentallect
Anyone remembers when Confederate flags were considered patriotic? Me neither.
  • @stephr9859
“Being judge mental to me means I have standards” lol. Love it.
  • I've watched many interviews of Fran Lebowitz and I find that many of the questions addressed to her were a bit redundant, but Ari asked intelligent questions, well thought out, and a few were even I might describe as challenging. Of course Fran being the woman that she is answered eloquently. Very entertaining interview. Great job Ari, and thank you Fran!

A wonderful woman. Thank you for interviewing this honest unique individual x
  • @monealiza7553
I don't think Fran is negative. She's a disappointed optimist.
  • @nicki66
When I tell you I admire and love Fran. I just do! She never disappoints! We have celebrated thinkers such as Noam Chomsky but I think Fran is just as bright and worth listening to.
  • @dabeage
Different lens? No. She's looking through clear lenses, not rose-colored lenses. I do appreciate this gentleman as an interviewer. Nice job, Ari.
  • @daveogarf
LOVE YOU, Fran Lebowitz! Your honesty and candor are so refreshing in this world of purposeful LYING!
  • @DavidTa2
The way she says "youre welcome" at the beginning.... so Fran 🤣🤣

"I'm guessing you're not a desk guy... I'm guessing the last time you had a desk, you were in detention...in Jr. Highschool." Spot on Fran.
  • Fran, straight no chaser. A refreshing conversation and interesting.
  • @wgharrison99
Fran is amazing! One of the most truthful individuals in America. This is coming from a Canadian who lived in NYC for 10 years.

It was said when I was young, “Children are to be seen and not heard”.
