the coach was doing what the parents don't know how to do. good job coach.
  • Bullying goes largely unreported by victims because of shame, social issues and fear... the victim likely confided in the coach due to having a rapport and confidence that he would support him and not judge . Mandated reporting to law enforcement is generally not investigated with no injures, esp incidents between two children and cps only investigates in home abuse by parent or coworker. Another case in Los Angeles where good Samaritans and people willing to help and intervene are given a raw deal. Smh

Kids can't report the bully because then they will get bullied even worse and be made fun of for telling!!! I mean come on, don't people remember what it was like when you were young in school!?!?

That was barely anything it’s not worth someone’s job or even being on the news.
  • @HappieMa
Why hasn’t the kid he was protecting come forward?

I still remember my high school wrestling coach, I wish our entire program could've won him more matches, he taught me lifelong life lessons and techniques. Support for this coach.

It's terrible that now and days it's limited the help kids can get. There was a Student in a valley highschool about a month ago where she was beat up in class by a male student and no one helped and teacher was present. Girl lost teeth and was badly beaten
