How is it possible, that Brock Purdy wasn't even nominated as comback player of the year?

I think a lot of the negativity - at least from pundits - is ego. They think they know who is going to be great and who is not (despite all historical evidence to the contrary), and while they'll let a guy like Purdy have a magical stretch, he's gotta fall back to earth at the end or he's making them look like idiots for dismissing him. Some of the rest is just the general addiction of pundits to hyperbole and overreaction. I'm not a 49ers fan at all, but I hope they win and Purdy gets named MVP.

Please for the love of god, Brock bring home that lombardi. I can't stand these talking heads, who craps on every single damn NFL player who isn't perfect. This win would be for the team but for every player who had bad game or came up short and was given up on too early and media heads think it was ok to tear them down like they aren't human. May god protect you and give you strength.
