Kacey is arguably the only character on the show who can be described as a genuinely “good” person

Kayce was the man with both the skillset and the moral compass to do what was needed when the time required it. A humble man trying to do what's best for his family while doing all he can to help the people around him. We can only hope to be half the man Kayce was portrayed to be.

“Let’s go get ‘em.” “I already got ‘em.” That, in a nutshell, is exactly why Kacey’s my favorite character. He thinks with his heart.

Kayce is the Jon Snow of Yellowstone. Both men strive to be just in an unjust world. He even has a deep connection to a wolf, just like Jon.

Kayce's a lot like John Marston. He's extremely skilled and always tied up in some sort of trouble but he's got a heart of gold and a family that he deeply loves.
  • If I was that father, I’d have given Kayce a hug and a handshake and we would have been family from that point on. You take care of my family, especially my daughter and we never met. You are special and forever loved.
  • I Love that Kayce is always fair to the Native Americans and his family. Not an easy thing to do.

So many people forget that this man has a Navy Cross and TWO silver stars, you open the ball on this guy and this can get serious real fast!
  • That government guy was surprisingly decent, doesn’t write them off, acknowledges they made a mistake, explains himself quickly and gives them a chance to set things right despite the issues with bureaucracy

Watching those horses run, even though I know nothing about horses, was just wonderful. Freedom is GOOD!!

It's ironic how this dude killed more people than anybody in his family, and yet he's the only genuinely good person amongst all of the Duttons.

Kayce is a real inspiration, and probably the heart of the show. You can just tell that he can never shut off that militaristic need to serve and help, which is part of what makes him so endearing. He attacks everything with the best of intentions, and truly just wants to help whoever he can if they are deserving of it. He can't even drive down a road, see something "off" just beyond his glance and not investigate it or try to help in some way. And his position is a fascinating one. He is a Dutton, so he belongs to a family of land seizing modern cowboys and settlers, but he is also the white husband to a native woman who he is trying to raise a family with while co-existing inside her own community the best he can, though he sticks out like a sore thumb. He always seems to be in a tug of war with himself, not sure where he belongs or what he should do. The more he helps his father, the more he damages his position with Monica and her community, and the more he invests in making his own family he ends up neglecting the one he came from in their time of need. His circumstances aren't easy, but he makes the best of it by being a very principled, moralistic man in a show full of people without those nobler qualities.

"You'll never meet a man who's killed more men than me, but I ain't never murdered one" - Kayce 'cold as ice' Dutton

Rumor has it he’s still in that cattleguard

If the show was just about Kaye and his wife and kid’s adventures I’d be down. He’s the one Dutton that still has some morals and a conscience.

“You know what I can do…make a good neighbor out of you…” 😂😂😂

I love how Kayce can be such a nice guy and a family man but can also be friking mean when he has to be.

He grew on me as the seasons went on. Definitely a great character on the show.

I don’t know why rip is more popular. Kayce is the more interesting character to me.
