Hello friends and welcome to another video! So, late last year we decided to take the plunge and move across the country for a fresh start in a new place. After doing some serious decluttering, we packed up our house, grabbed our cat, and hit the road (and vlogged our whole cross-country road trip in our minivan!) It's been a couple of months and we are finally set up enough to dive back into making videos, so here is our moving vlog! Hopefully you guys enjoy it, and thank you for being so patient with us while we figure all of this out.

Also, sorry about any smudginess of the windshield! It was tough to keep clean on our drive, but I know sometimes it can look gross, so sorry about that! Lol

Tbh as a European it's mindblowing that Americans are so comfortable with driving for so long, if I were to drive for 40 hours I'd probably end up somewhere in Russia lol
  • @fishmasmouse
This is peak relatable content: realizing two days into traveling that if you don't eat a vegetable immediately, you're going to lose your mind, and saying "cows!" every time you see a cow.
  • I know this video is like a year old and 40 minutes long, but it’s literally my comfort video. I always put it on while I’m cleaning or getting ready. It’s like hanging out with friends
  • As a pet owner, the fact that Crusty's comfort was a factor in the decision to drive across the country during the move, makes me SO happy.

I can't believe I watched a 40 min long video of two people traveling with their cat , without skipping or getting bored
  • The real reason they moved was to get away from the blueberry pancake smell.
  • I'm the kind of person who revisits the same videos and tv shows over and over for a sense of comfort. This video is in that arsenal. While I have rewatched many of Saf's videos, this one in particular gives me a particular sense of comfort and familiarity. Saf and Tyler's funny and sweet dynamic, Crusty, gorgeous views and locations, there's just something about this video that brings me calm and happiness.
  • Idk if Safiya and Tyler get enough credit for being the absolute top example there could possibly be of a healthy, committed relationship. This is the type of partnership everyone should aim for. When people say "marry your best friend", this is the epitome. I know a lot of your viewers are younger and it is SO important that they see this level of healthy communication and affection. It's also important for people more like me whose last relationship may not have been a good one. It makes me so happy to see both of you happy together. Thank you for sharing these glimpses of your lives with us.

I guess we can say that Safiya has moved, reallocated, and shifted.

Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the fact that Safia and Tyler drove across the US for multiple reasons but first and foremost was to do what was best for their cat. That’s almost too wholesome.
  • @xxibjrosek
I honestly think that most people underestimate just how large the US is. I am so glad y'all got to your new home safely

Who is watching this after knowing that Crusty has passed and is here because you wanna see Crusty (I know that I am here for Crusty) R.I.P Crusty we love u! ❤️
  • @HawlyAly
Just wanted to say I really appreciate anyone with a platform coming out to just say "we're not doing well here right now" as a valid reason to make a change. Thanks Safiya!
  • Thank you for stopping with us on your cross-country move! Good pick on our Fresh to Go cups. P.S. The art installation you passed in Oklahoma City is called Skydance Bridge, which is designed to look like Oklahoma’s state bird. We’re headquartered in OKC so you can trust us.

This, along with the Vegas hotel videos are my comfort videos. I’ve watched them so many times, I’ve practically memorized them.
  • When this video first came out, I wondered why they did it, because I had never seen something like this before. But today, I'm on my THIRD watch, and it's one of the most comforting things ever. I cannot pinpoint but there is just something whimsical, longing, and cute about this. Them wanting to stay close to their folks, driving for the cat, visiting so many cute towns they will never see again, and jus that vastness of it all — unmatched.

The fact that Crusty was a street cat and is estimated to be about twenty years old makes me feel like he's just a person who got cursed to live as a cat.
  • @ec-3po
I knew crusty was old, but didn’t realize he was 17-20. He looks good for his age
  • @maddinar6727
As a European it's still always amazing just how big the US is. Like, a one day drive can take me to Amsterdam, Paris or Copenhagen. And you don't even get out of one state. :D
