VIDEO CORRECTION: The heatmap is actually approximately 500,000 by 275,000 blocks. I totally messed that up when making the video, sorry!
  • @FitMC
If they didn't want their bases found they shouldn't have installed Minecraft in the first place
  • @The_Horizon
Thats how SalC1's base wasn't griefed until recently. He's shown the terrain in many videos but everyone assumed that the base was already griefed and didn't bother. It wasn't until someone accidentally stumbled apon it when it was finally griefed.

What a chad Mac is, just venturing and finding bases with no intensions but to see the cool stuffs, legend.
  • In a server full of chaos it's always neat to hear of a guy simply visiting and documenting what he finds, part of that is probably because griefers are a dime a dozen.
  • @ColinBFClarke
50 years in the future. "Grandson would you like to see my virtual worlds?" "No"
  • @coencollins1373
I like that he didn’t grief the bases but appreciated them
  • @2014dotcom
I wonder if any couples met on 2b2t, “-where’d you meet?” “-An infamous Minecraft anarchy server”
  • @adamclift88
maybe all the base downloads can be spliced together on a single world and in a single server; someone can see all of these bases in their full glory, preserved, which I think would be pretty cool
  • @potatoface2186
a good use for the base locations would be to average where most people make bases, due to how humans like patterns it’d probably be quite skewed
  • with world downloads of the builds you could copy them to a server to make a sort of museum or combine them all into a gigantic city by placing fitting bases next to each other, players could then go explore that city and find inspiration for their own builds or simply just enjoy the different styles and architectures. you could also make a museum/library with the screenshots alone.

And there I was thinking that I was being paranoid, building a base as far out as I did. But it’s not paranoia if they are out to get you. It’s beyond the heat map.
  • @wolfcl0ck
Of all the people I've heard of from these kinds of videos, I must say that this guy seems to have one of the noblest goals. He's simply here to sightsee. I respect that.
  • @TheSpudThing
The thing that confuses me the most is why people build such BEAUTIFUL bases on that god-forsaken hell-hole of a server.
  • @Mordakai
A good use for the bases themselves: gather up a bundle of the most talented builders (based on their builds/bases) and start the next FyreUK. That's what I'd do.
  • @ThomasTheBullet
This is why I love you SalC1, you give a prefect no non sense explanation in 5 minutes while fitmc goes "YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT JUST hAPPEN IN THE OLDEST ANRACHY SEvER" for 12 minutes
  • @omnitone
i have the feeling that nomads feel really smart knowing that they don't have a base to get greifed.

Everytime I see one of these videos I'm astounded by the amazing stuff people build on 2bt2. I struggle to build large scale as it is, but I just wouldn't be able to stomach the knowledge that I could log on one day to find it all destroyed. (I know I'm probably generalizing the community a bit there, but still.)
