  • Any body else notice ... My MD is NOT A healthcare provider! He is simply a "DRUG PUSHER" ... Ken, I watch all your videos and are just awesome!

I dropped my chronic life long high BP after intermittent fasting, stopped drinking alcohol and losing 30lbs. I was amazed that my BP is now never higher than 120s over 80s. Life changing. I'm on two BP medicines but tracking my BP to talk to my doctor about eliminating at least one of them (hopefully both eventually).
  • I don't want no more of it. I had a problems with just about all of them.
  • Intermittent fasting + healthy low carb for 10 months. I am happy to confirm that my blood pressure dropped from 130-140/80-90 to the range 100-110/60-70 👍👍👍
  • I'm on carvedilol and losartan. Went from 270lb to 195 doing Keto for a year. BP at the four months ago was 180/127 with a pulse in the high 80's. Cardiovascular Primary Care Doctor didn't like that I was doing Keto, but liked that I was losing weight. Had my follow up today and I lost 21lbs from the last visit. I think she gets in a rut with most patients not doing anything to help the situation they are in. She was ecstatic and smiled the entire time talking to me about my progress. It was a 100% change in her attitude from when I first started working with her. I've only been on the meds 4 months. The conversation was keep doing what I'm doing and we can talk about getting off/reducing the HBP meds. I keep a journal and my BP has been under 120/80 with a pulse around 60 for 2 months now.
  • I started making a simple tea of hibiscus flowers and L-arginine and had IMMEDIATE positive results with ZERO side effects ! I no longer take any pharmaceutical drugs..of, I also am on low carb/ high fresh meat diet..thanks, Doc !!
  • Reversed my high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, PTSD on keto. Now weaning off Losartan and Metformin. Huzzah!
  • @bubcat54
I was on bp meds for 38 years. They barely got it to 140/90 I've been on keto for 4 years. Stopped the meds. Bp is normal.
  • After being on BP meds for many years (decades) I've recently found out that lowering my BP is as easy as not eating too much! I've lost 40 pounds in the last 8 months for my high sugar numbers and shazam, my BP is now consistently lower!
  • Just switched from Lisinopril to Losartan for better kidney protection and to get rid of dry cough I had with Lisinopil.
  • Dr. Berry I love your communication skills. I wish you were my PCP. I am stuck with the Veterans Health Administration. I really enjoy you sharing your knowledge, thank you.
  • @porkyV2
Dr Berry, you are one of the youtube doctors i watch that helped me for 2 years to greatly reduce the symptoms of diabetes and high blood pressure. your diet advices are logical and reasonable, all i needed to do is follow them then gradually the symptoms just went away. my blood pressure meds are down to 2 tabs and sometimes i just need to take 1 because when i check its not that really far off the mark. my diabetic neuropathy and blurry vision is just gone. thank you!
  • My friend stopped taking blood pressure medication and taking care of himself with low carb vegetables it was okay After 2month he wakes up with bad sroke He still struggling to leave and trying to talk it’s very sad to see someone you know So before stopping your high blood medicine you need to talk your doctor Don’t be stupid !!!🙏
  • Thanks! This has been helpful as I take Losartan. I am 74, T2 diabetic, and I rarely exercise. My doctor says that I am 30 pounds overweight, so I started a Keto diet 30 days ago. I have not lost a pound but my blood sugar is becoming stable at between 87 and 110 depending on when I test it, after eating or later. I was worried about the side effects of Losartan so this video has relieved me of unnecessary anxiety! Thanks, that should also help to lower my blood pressure!
  • Losartan just f'ed me up. Horrible anxiety/panic attack effect. I only figured it out when the Doc upped my dosage and the severity doubled.
  • @JYAN2852
Lower insulin levels, increase electrolytes, get plenty of sun exposure. BP meds are only band aids as they do not fix the root cause. Human body always wants to heal itself so we have to give it what it needs to function properly
  • Have had really high pressure since high school im 46. Since going 99 percent carnivore losing 44 lbs my blood pressure reads now 118 over 68
  • @RG-hf4et
My cardiologist gave me Valsartan as my first hbp pill. He said it had the least side effects and was well tolerated. I am doing well on it.
  • Ken, I just wanted to say thank you for this vid. I've known I had high BP for a couple decades. Started out a little high and continued to climb to where I'm at today. Went to the ER for a pain I had and they went through the whole thing. Two blood draws, 6 hrs on the EKG, 2 chest xrays. Turns out all the blood work came out good, xrays fine, EKG fine but blood pressure was way high. An injection brought it down part way but the Dr. wanted it lower so he gave me a small pill. After monitoring me he sent me home. I had an appointment today with my new Primary Care Dr. (didn't have a Dr. for the last 10 years). He did his work and prescribed me LOSARTAN. Prior to leaving the house I watched this vid and wrote down all of the medications and your ranking. The instant the Dr. said what he was going to prescribe I pulled out my list and saw that it was favorable for someone in my situation. That brought comfort to me so, thank you for that.
