Solar panels really do give you freedom camp in a lot of different areas. Thanks for all the great information.
  • Lots of great info! Will save this one for future reference. I would love to have the time to do the research like you did - so many nice boondocking spots 👍

Thank you for making the video. I have wanted to visit this area. Very informative and helpful! Looks like many places to visit in this area with lots of things to see!! I have a four wheel drive Tacoma with a short 8 foot Wells cargo trailer, so it appears my options are plentiful.

Definitely our favorite place to visit. Fabulous Las Vegas.

I never realized there is a lot of boondocking sites around Las Vegas. It is hard to believe that such beauty is just outside of the city.

Just added these locations to my bucket list. THANK YOU! I thought it was really nice that the ranger recommended places to boondock at. I'm guessing though he didn't warn you about the bumpy road. LOL! Love Red Rock Canyon. Had to pleasure of going there for an afternoon. Still to this day, some of the best photo's I've ever taken was there. We also got to visit Hoover Dam and enjoy looking at this feat of human engineering in all it's majesty. Such a beautiful area. Beautiful site that you found. Really love the mountain views. Pretty cool that you can stay for 7 days without a permit. I'd definitely prefer the areas without to many people. (generators) LOL! I think I'd want to try out the Nelson Hills area first. The Gold Mine looks so cool. Great place to do some photography. The antique RV's are just to fun! LOL! Great video guys. Thanks for some great locations to visit. Peace & Love! Have a Glamtastic Day! 👍😀🌈🤪🌈😎🌈😍
  • Great information. We can’t wait to try those parks ourselves. Thanks!
  • Thank you! Very Informative... new to car-camping here and just been going to local national forest (Angeles, los padres, San Bernardino)... Now i have ideas when I venture into Nevada!

I live in Overton. Sounds like you were boondocking at a place known locally as Poverty Flats. Hope you enjoyed your stay!
