Didn't see the stumble and fumble Billy Ratlift wouldn't have gone undefeated without it

I understand it was the national championship, but the Dobbs hail mary will always be my top play ever. Just a great way to end a football game of any kind especially against them dawgs. Josh Dobbs still my favorite Vol, just wish he could have had Heupel as a coach, wow the possibilities. Great video and GBO!!!!!

"And here they come" will always be one of the most iconic phrases for me

Some incredible moments of nostalgia watching some of these clips, but one I would have like to have seen the pick six by Dwayne Goodrich in the '98 Fiesta Bowl. I really felt like the Vols were destined to win the natty after that play. Also the miracle that happened a few months earlier in the Arkansas game. GBO
  • I was really glad see Dale Jones on here for the great play that he made against Bama.’ I lived in Knoxville in the 1970’s and 80’s. When Dale was playing football for UT he dated one of my next door neighbor’s daughters. Sometimes, when Dale was waiting for her to finish getting ready for their date, he would step outside and hang out with my friends and I for a little bit. Even though we were a bunch of nerdy junior high boys who could do nothing for him, he would throw the football around with us for a while and he gave us autographed footballs and photos of himself. A super great guy.

You can argue the plays, but I appreciate the effort! Go Vols!!

Hearing John Ward's voice brings back some great memories. Many teams that Johnny Majors put on the field were underrated, in my opinion. Tennessee totally destroyed Miami in the Sugar Bowl...I believe it was 1985! The SEC Championship game with Auburn, was not a great game for Tennessee. But, somehow they won it for Peyton!
  • I am really impressed that you included the Floyd Miley 85 yard blocked field goal return in the Miracle at South Bend game! If that kick isn’t blocked & ran back for the TD, momentum doesn’t shift in our favor & the Miracle most likely never would’ve happened! I was 11 or 12 watching that game & was so disappointed, until I saw that return! My dad said “SO WHAT! They’re still losing by 2 TD’s & a FG!” My favorite team has made the biggest comeback I’d ever seen & beat the top team in the nation! As a little Vol fan at the time, that was National Championship level excitement for me! I’ve never forgotten about Floyd Miley either! I’m really excited that someone has finally included that in their list of all time Vols plays! That got you a lifetime follower here! 👏👏👏👏👏👍 PS While I’m in a Vol football zone, I’ll also mention that I was at the Florida game where Wilhoit missed the extra point that would’ve tied the game & almost left when that happened! If I had left that game, I would still be kicking my own @$$! I’ve been to several games at Neyland where different records were broken, & if I’m not mistaken, they announced that the crowd broke the college football record for loudest crowd in history at the time. I know I was at a game that broke that record, I think it was that Florida game, but it’s possible it was the Arkansas game where Jason Whitten caught the game winner in overtime at close to 3 am that broke what the record for most overtime’s & longest college football game ever up to that point. Anyway, I didn’t get to go to all their games when I lived there, but did save money so I could go to certain in conference rivalry games & I was very fortunate to have picked several games that included moments that are in the UT history books. I was at the Louisiana Monroe Homecoming game, I think in 2000, when Casey Clausen went in for the first time! On his very first snap as a Vol, he threw a touchdown pass to David Martin. I remember being excited about getting to see him finally play because I was excited about him. He was a great athlete who was built for the QB position, but he was also as dumb as a bag of hammers! If he’d had the intelligence of someone like Peyton, Hendon, or Josh Dobbs instead of the w-w-wataboy derrrr😂 he could’ve been phenomenal! I think his brother Rick got the intelligence which helped him to be a solid QB. Casey got the athletic ability which helped him to be a really good QB & Jimmy got all the arrogance & then some! I’m glad that turd chose to stay away from Knoxville! He was the type that infected teams with his toxic arrogance!

Field goal block vs. Kentucky in 2OT (2007) ... Last time we won the East

How did you leave out Jeff Powell's run against Miami in the Sugar Bowl?
  • This is absolutely great! Could you maybe make a video of the top 20-50 ut runs of all time. No one has made one and I see why. Thats alit of research. From milestones for players to clutch moments in big games. Alot of big names and plays in ut
  • @tjlift22
Man I remember most of those plays and watched them live. I didn’t see the Arkansas fumble in 98. That might be the biggest play of all of them
  • @davidp1922
Jay Graham run against Bama was legendary
  • @willdixon2587
This is such a tough task. For your consideration (or for future videos) Stumble and Fumble Ark 1998, Holloway's pylon dive, Seivers catch vs Clemson 1974, Jeff Powell's 60 yarder vs Miami 1985 "The Stop" vs Billy Cannon and LSU 1959, Heath Shuler QB draw vs UGA in 1992, Chuck Webb run vs Arkansas 1990 Cotton Bowl, Dion Grant pick vs FLA 1998, Dale Carter KR vs FLA 1990.
  • Awesome video brother if that don’t get you fired up idk what will 🔥🔥🔥 GBO
