Another longer version is available, in which her manager, as well as her mother urged her not to use certain lyrics in the song. Everyone had a good chuckle....

It's on the bootleg album "The Posall and the Mosalm" that I found in a used record shop about 1975. Joni wrote this song as sort of a joke, using lyrics edited out of other songs. It's cute, but it doesn't "fit" on any of her other albums. There have been at least 4030 covers of 159 of Joni's songs by 3102 different artists. My favorite is Bonnie Riatt doing That Song About The Midway, I don't think anyone has covered Mr Blue (or Blue on Blue, another song Joni never released.)
