Gotta say trevor marrying sypha created THE MOST formidable bloodline in all of vampire serieses
-
Creators suddenly remembered Castlevania was originally created by Japanese and thought "hey, why don't we give him an anime protag rage scene".
-
Sypha: (seeing Richter power up) “That’s my boy!” Trevor: (seeing Juste wallow in his malaise) (sighs) “That’s my boy…”

Literally goosebumps hearing this Divine Bloodlines rendition and having Richter finally putting on his iconic white headband. Seeing the Grand Cross in the blue flame was amazingly

We got to see 3 generations of Belmonts Wield the Vampire Killer Whip in one season. His grandfather Juste Belmont uses the whip so effortlessly and gracefully like it’s second nature.
-
Dude blocked a maul with his forearm and still carries on fighting. What a legend.
-
Yes. They made Richter insanely OP like he should be.

i like how even tho it's a big anime moment you can still tell he's not experienced with magic - which is why he's using it to enhance the fighting skills he's already familiar with. using the ice to block, enhance his hits and create throwable daggers, and using his fire through contact. it's very clever of him considering he did it completely on the spot.

This scene was incredible, the rising action was genuinely compelling and the need for survival triggering his sense of magic was a beaut. Bloodlines is just fantastic, dude.
-
He is the most powerful one, before Julius eventually is born. The blue flames tell it all, not even Sypha, a master magician, could burn them that hot.
-
Richter : " but fuck it " Trevor : " goddamn fuck that's my descendant "
-
The self actualization, the headband, the music and bad@$$ fight scene. This is about as 90s Shonen as it gets and I am ALL FOR IT!

I believe that the power of one's magic is the state of someone's mentality. He used his magic once to protect the one person he loved and looked up to, and that magic failed him, so he locked it away in his guilt as a means of coping. That moment is him growing up. Becoming a Belmont, and embracing his pain and sorrow into power when he needed it the most. I like that.

Trevor walked, so future Belmont’s could run. Don’t get me wrong, Trevor did some impressive stuff, but after watching this I see why the Belmonts are so renowned as they are in the games. They’re trained to become hunters of the night, and strike fear in monsters.

Its hard to believe Castlevania's animation could be better, but after watching Nocturne, I can genuinely say they improved

Having to wait for a second season of this show is going to be painful......
-
It's that almost dead-eyed "Now, you fucked up" head turn from Richter that absolutely sold the scene. Grand Cross in blue fire? Epic. Richter's scream of apoplectic rage? Flawless. That cold hateful gaze he hands to these vampires before giving them the ass whooping of a lifetime? That was the moment that legit had me jumping out of my seat screaming "Kick Their Asses, Belmont!"

When I saw that "holy cross!!" Item crash scene and the "Richter Theme" played..just brings back memories like I first played Dracula X on the SNES. This scene is really badass.
-
Every gangsta until Divine Bloodlines plays and Richter goes SYPHA mode!!! The music hits so hard yet nostalgia :' )
-
Damn, he goes "Sypha" mode in this one.
