The real truth is that the worst trash stayed on the boat.

Make them pick up garbage on the side of highways for the next 10 years.

My Dad was wealthy, but he raised us like we were poor. Taught self motivation and accountability for one's actions. My kids got the same treatment. Excellent results.

Chris and Lisa Ruth are the boat's listed owners. I have to imagine 15yo Charles Ruth is their son, with his older brother at the helm. Confiscate the boat.

I'm sick of hearing other teens say it's no big deal. But it is. Trash kills our sea life and turtles. Which is a felony

Proof positive that money can't buy brain cells...

The amount of effort to go out of your way to do something so shameless is legitimately unbelievable

Teens say littering isn't bad. It's bad for the wild life. I stopped littering when I seen pictures of innocent animals trapped in trash and suffocating in bags. Animals don't deserve that.

1000+ hours of community service cleaning beaches should be an option.

Rich kids will probably use daddy’s lawyer to get off free.

Disgusting and despicable. So sorry for the wildlife that suffers from this, very sad.
  • As a Palm Beach County resident and beach walker - this is sick. Charge the Father too - for allowing this illegal and immoral behavior on his vessel. ✔️✔️✔️

Don’t go easy on them, set an example, the way they simply just dump trash in the ocean makes me believe this isn’t the first time.

The captain of the vessel should also face charges. He/She is responsible as well. Teenagers+boats+speed = trouble

Everyone on that boat should be charged in my opinion!
  • A fine for the parents. Community service for the kids. Shoreline cleanup and a lecture from a marine biologist.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine the stuff we don’t see them do.
  • Thank you for taking this so seriously! Our future generations deserve to enjoy the beautiful oceans like we did! We are responsible for maintaining it! Not just the government not the cleanup crews us as humans

This is terrible. They better receive some consequences for their actions. I'm not talking about fines either because there parents will pay that for them. This is the actions of spoiled kids that have not had any repercussions for anything they have done.
